The Romay PE80 is an 800 mm architectural disc pendant in black with an opal face — 58 W giving 4,520 lm, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, CRI above 93, TRIAC dimmable.
CRI above 93, and our copy never said so. Most pendants in this catalogue record CRI 80. At 80, food looks duller, timber flattens and skin goes slightly grey; at 93 they do not. On a fitting designed to hang over a dining table or a kitchen island and light the whole room, that is the single specification worth comparing — and it was buried in a table.
This is brighter than almost anything else in this catalogue. A single Romay PE80 will light an open-plan kitchen and dining area on its own, which is unusual for a pendant and is what makes it architectural rather than decorative. At 78 lumens per watt while holding CRI 93, it is also efficient — high colour rendering normally costs far more than that.
Eight to one. The Romay is a disc, not a bowl — it reads as a plane floating below the ceiling, and the opal face means the whole 800 mm glows evenly with no visible source. That is what lets it hang at eye level over an island without glare, which a 4,520-lumen fitting could not otherwise do.
⚠ No weight is recorded anywhere. An 800 mm disc suspended from a 220 mm canopy is exactly where an electrician needs that figure. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K, selected at installation. Note the top end: most switchable fittings here stop at 4000 K. The Romay reaches 5000 K, which is genuinely useful over a working kitchen bench — and note there is no 2700 K setting, so it does not go as warm as a purely decorative pendant. This is a fitting for rooms that get used.
Fully TRIAC dimmable on an ordinary wall dimmer — and at 4,520 lm that is not optional, it is essential. Full output over a dining table is far too much for dinner. This is the fitting's real advantage over the many bright pendants in this range that cannot be dimmed.
The acrylic is the opal face doing the diffusing; the aluminium is doing the heat work, which at 58 W matters for how long the LEDs last. It is Class I — earth required and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
The Romay also comes at 600 mm, 40 W and 3,388 lm. Both are 100 mm deep on the same 220 mm canopy, and both run at similar efficiency — so the choice is the size of the room and the table, not the specification. The 800 for an island or a table of 1.6 metres and up; the 600 below that.
800 mm across by 100 mm deep, canopy 220 mm with a 45 mm projection, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, in aluminium, iron and acrylic. Weight is not recorded — ask us. Integrated 58 W LED giving 4,520 lm, included, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, CRI >93, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

More than — 4,520 lm is brighter than almost anything else in this catalogue, and a single Romay PE80 will light an open-plan kitchen and dining area on its own. That is what makes it architectural rather than decorative.
A lot, and our copy never mentioned it. Most pendants here record CRI 80, where food looks duller, timber flattens and skin goes slightly grey. On a fitting that hangs over a dining table and lights the whole room, it is the specification worth comparing.
No. The opal face means the whole 800 mm glows evenly with no visible source, which is what lets a 4,520-lumen fitting hang at eye level without discomfort.
Yes — fully TRIAC dimmable on an ordinary wall dimmer, and at this output that is essential rather than optional. Full brightness over a dining table is far too much for dinner. It is the real advantage over the many bright pendants in this range that cannot be dimmed.

3000 K, 4000 K and 5000 K, set at installation. The top end is cooler than most fittings here, which stop at 4000 K — useful over a working bench. Note there is no 2700 K, so it does not go as warm as a purely decorative pendant.
