The Rana 30 is the small hand-woven rattan table lamp — ø300 mm against the Rana 50's half-metre — standing 505 mm tall, in natural.

The small one is the practical one

The Rana 50 at ø500 mm needs a console and dominates it. At ø300 mm this version fits a normal bedside or side table while doing exactly the same thing with the light. If you liked the Rana but not its footprint, this is the answer.

Woven shadow is the point

A teardrop shade in hand-woven rattan throws the weave onto the wall and ceiling around it. That textured shadow is the reason to buy it — and it means the globe matters: a clear globe sharpens the pattern, a frosted one softens it to a glow.

An inline switch on the cord

The 1,820 mm cable carries an inline switch about 300 mm from the lamp — within reach on a bedside without groping for the base.

Hand-woven, so each differs

Colour and weave tension vary slightly between pieces. That is the nature of rattan rather than a fault, but it does mean a perfectly matched pair is not possible.

The family is complete

Rana is made as a pendant, table lamp and floor lamp, and this table lamp in two sizes. A bedside pair with a matching pendant above is a coherent scheme.

Specifying it

ø300 mm shade, 505 mm tall, base ø218 mm, cable 1,820 mm with an inline switch, in hand-woven rattan on an iron base with a PVC cable. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied. Assembly required. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. Wipe clean with a dry cloth — no liquid cleaners.

How is it different from the Rana 50?

Size. This is ø300 mm and fits a normal bedside; the Rana 50 is ø500 mm and needs a console.

What does the rattan do to the light?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
