Product Description
xThe Ramiro PE20 is a 200 mm traditional coach-style outdoor pendant in black or bronze with textured glass — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, IP44, 300 mm high on a 1,750 mm suspension.
It hangs on chain, on rod, or on both — and our page was cut off mid-word saying so. Outdoors that is a wind decision:
- Chain lets the lantern move — traditional and charming under a sheltered porch; restless in an exposed position, where it swings and wears the flex.
- Rod holds it rigid, which is right anywhere that catches wind or where a swinging fitting would be at head height.
- Both makes up an exact drop.

The small one — and it gives exactly the same light
Every lantern in the Ramiro and Pedral ranges takes the same single E27 to 25 W. The 200 mm is not the dimmer option; it is the same lantern, smaller.
That makes it the one to use in numbers. A run of three or four small lanterns down a verandah or covered walkway is better proportioned than the same run in the large size, and gives more total light than one big lantern — which, since every size takes the same globe, is the only way to get more light from these ranges.
It also suits a lower covered ceiling, where a 420 mm lantern on a long drop starts to intrude.
⚠ Comparing Ramiro with Pedral? They are near-identical ranges — same aluminium and textured glass, same IP44, same E27 25 W globe, same black or bronze, same chain/rod/both on 1,750 mm, and both made as pendants and wall lanterns. Only the sizes separate them:

This one and the Pedral PE18 are the same height and 20 mm apart in width. Ask us and we will send photographs of both — at that margin, the shape of the lantern matters more than the dimensions.
Where an outdoor pendant goes
Most exterior lighting is wall or ground mounted, because most outdoor areas have no ceiling. This is for the ones that do — covered porches and entries, verandahs, alfresco ceilings, carports, covered walkways and solid-roofed pergolas. And since Ramiro is made as a pendant and a wall lantern, an entry can carry the pendant over the door and lanterns either side.
⚠ No weight is recorded for either Ramiro pendant. On a 1,750 mm drop outdoors, where the fitting may move in wind, your electrician needs it. Ask us before the fixing is chosen — particularly for a run of several.
The globe, behind textured glass
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. Textured glass scatters rather than hides, so you see a softened, broken-up form of the globe:
- A decorative LED filament — globe or ST64 — reads as a warm glowing core.
- Rated for ENCLOSED fittings — it is a sealed lantern, and heat with nowhere to go kills LED globes.
- Warm 2700 K, or it looks like a security light.
- Hanging a run? Buy them all together, same brand — mismatched lanterns along a verandah are obvious from the garden.
It dims, with the right globe. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. In a run, matched globes are what keeps them flicker-free on one dimmer.
IP44 — covered positions only. Splashing water, not driving rain or jets, so an open-sided verandah taking rain sideways is not the place for it. Canopy 100 mm, in aluminium and textured glass, Class I — earth required.
Where it works
- Covered porches and entries — and in runs down a verandah.
- Lower covered ceilings, where the 420 mm would intrude.
- With Ramiro wall lanterns either side of a door.
- ⚠ Choose rod anywhere that catches wind.

Is it dimmer than the 250mm?
No — every Ramiro and Pedral lantern takes the same single E27 to 25 W. It is the same lantern, smaller, which makes it the one to use in numbers: a run of three or four is better proportioned down a verandah and gives more total light than one large lantern. For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
