Product Description
xThe Ramiro EX20 is a 200 mm traditional coach lantern in black, with textured glass — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, IP44, projecting 280 mm.
⚠ It projects 280 mm from a body only 400 mm tall — proportionally the deepest reach in either coach-lantern range. That is more than the Pedral EX23, a visibly larger lantern, and it means the EX20 is not the “compact” option its width suggests.
- Beside a front door, check the door swing and architrave.
- Along a path or passage, mount it above head height.
- At 2.8 kg on a 280 mm reach, the fixing takes leverage as well as weight — a flat fitting pulls down, this one pulls down and out. Tell your electrician both figures.
If you need a genuinely shallow exterior fitting, ask us — the Terin projects 30 mm and the Noral 90 mm.
⚠ A note on finishes. The Ramiro range copy offers “black or bronze”. This size is stocked in black only. The 250 mm EX25 comes in both. If you want bronze, ask us — we will confirm whether the 200 mm can be ordered in it, or whether the larger size is the way to get it.
Same light as every other lantern in both ranges
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied — identical to the 250 mm Ramiro and to both Pedrals. The smaller lantern is not the dimmer one; it is the same light in a smaller body.
So it is the one to use in numbers. A run of two or three along a covered facade, or a pair either side of a door, gives more total light than one large lantern — which, since every size takes the same globe, is the only way to get more light from these ranges. And at 200 mm they are better proportioned in a run than the 250.

The two are shaped differently, which is the useful distinction: the Pedral is taller and shallower — a vertical lantern; the Ramiro is shorter and deeper — it reaches out rather than hanging down. Against a narrow doorframe reveal the Pedral suits; on an open wall where the light should come forward over a step, the Ramiro does.
Textured glass — and the globe still shows
Textured glass scatters rather than hides, so you see a softened, broken-up form of the globe. One E27 to 25 W:
- A decorative LED filament — globe or ST64 — reads as a warm glowing core.
- Rated for ENCLOSED fittings — it is sealed, and heat with nowhere to go kills LED globes.
- Warm 2700 K, or it looks like a security light.
- Hanging a pair or a run? Buy the globes together, same brand.
It dims, with the right globe — neither our record nor the page's table mentioned dimming; the datasheet says globe dependent, and that is right.
IP44 — covered positions, correctly stated on our page as “Outdoor (Covered Area)”. Backplate 115 mm on a 200 mm fitting. Class I — earth required, in aluminium and textured glass. The globe is replaceable, where nearly every other exterior fitting here has a sealed integrated LED.

Questions
Is it the compact option?
Not as compact as its width suggests. It projects 280 mm from a body only 400 mm tall — proportionally the deepest reach in either coach-lantern range, and more than the visibly larger Pedral EX23. Check the door swing, and mount it above head height along a path. For a genuinely shallow exterior fitting, ask us about the Terin at 30 mm or the Noral at 90.
Can I get it in bronze?
Not in this size, as stocked — the range copy offers black or bronze, and the 200 mm is black only. The 250 mm EX25 comes in both. Ask us and we will confirm whether the small one can be ordered in bronze, or whether the larger size is the way to get it.
Is it dimmer than the 250mm?
No — every Ramiro and Pedral lantern takes the same single E27 to 25 W. That makes this the one to use in numbers: a pair either side of a door, or a run along a covered facade, gives more total light than one large lantern, and at 200 mm they are better proportioned in a run.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
