Radam 4 Pendant Light

The Radam PE4 is a four-light cluster pendant in vintage brass or black, with 150 mm glass shades on an iron frame — four E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, 240 mm high on a 1,500 mm suspension.

Low and wide — and that is why it works over a table

At 240 mm high the Radam PE4 is a shallow fitting, where the eight-light is 440 mm. That proportion matters more than it sounds:

• A shallow pendant stays above the sightline between people sitting opposite each other. A tall one hangs into it.
• Four shades spread across a cluster light the table evenly rather than pooling under one point — which is what a cluster is for, and why it beats a single large pendant over a rectangular table.
• It suits an ordinary ceiling, where the eight-light needs height.

Vintage brass or black

• Vintage brass — warm, aged and slightly darkened rather than bright. It sits with timber, leather and warm paint, and it is the finish the frame is really drawn for: the metal catches light along its curves in a way flat colour does not. ⚠ Use warm 2700 K globes — against vintage brass, cool white reads green and flattens the finish to a dull yellow-grey, and the warmth of the metal is most of what you are paying for.
• Black — graphic and contemporary; it reads as a silhouette against a pale ceiling, so the glass shades carry the fitting rather than the frame.

Four globes, 100 watts of capacity

Four E14 to 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 20 W.

Part of a four-piece range

Radam is made as a single wall light, a twin wall light, this four-light pendant and an eight, all sharing the same glass shades and iron frame — and in both finishes, so a room and its hallway can carry one decision.

⚠ The twin wall light is horizontal (370 mm wide by 170 high), which suits a mantel or a bedhead; the eight-light pendant is tiered and needs real ceiling height.

Four E14 (SES) globes to 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
