The Radam PE4B is a four-light vertical pendant in vintage brass or black — four glass shades stacked along a slender iron frame, taking E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, at 150 mm wide by 520 mm high on a 1,500 mm suspension.
⚠ It is called a “bar” pendant, and it hangs vertically. That is worth clearing up before anything else, because the two do not usually go together.
A bar pendant normally means shades spread horizontally along a canopy — like the Trina, which runs across a table. The Radam PE4B is 150 mm wide and 520 mm tall: the four shades are stacked down a slim frame, and its own description calls it “a refined vertical statement”.
So do not buy it expecting a long horizontal fitting over a table. It is a narrow vertical column of light — which is a genuinely useful thing, just a different one.
⚠ It is not a dining-table pendant. At 520 mm deep it hangs into the sightline across a table, and at 150 mm wide it lights a narrow strip rather than the table's spread. For a table, the Radam PE4 cluster (240 mm high) or the PE8 tiered pendant is the right one — ask us.
Four E14 to 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES — a candle or golf-ball globe. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 20 W.
The glass shades hide the globes, so brightness and warmth are the only decisions and the four need not match visually. Use warm 2700 K — against vintage brass especially, cool white reads green and flattens the finish to a dull yellow-grey, and the warmth of the metal is most of what you are paying for.
It dims, with the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and our page both say globe dependent, and they are right.
On a vertical fitting, dimming does something specific: taken low, the four shades separate into four distinct points at four heights instead of reading as one lit column — which in a stairwell is exactly the effect worth having. With only four globes a matched dimmable set is easy. Ask us.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a four-light iron and glass fitting on a 1.5-metre drop. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
A note on our data: the datasheet records a 1,500 mm fixture length, which is exactly the suspension length in the same block — almost certainly the suspension duplicated into the wrong field. The fitting is 150 mm wide, which the record and page agree on.
Class I — earth required, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron and glass.
Radam is made as a single wall light, a horizontal twin wall light, this vertical bar, a four-light cluster and an eight-light tiered pendant — all sharing the same glass shades and iron frame, in both finishes. That is unusually complete, and it means a stairwell, its landing and the room below can carry one decision.
150 mm wide by 520 mm high, suspension 1,500 mm, weight not recorded — ask us, in iron and glass, vintage brass or black. Four E14 (SES) globes to 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Vertical, despite the name. A bar pendant normally means shades spread horizontally along a canopy — like the Trina, which runs across a table. This one is 150 mm wide and 520 mm tall, with the four shades stacked down a slim frame, and its own description calls it a refined vertical statement. Do not buy it expecting a long horizontal fitting.
Stairwells and entry voids, where the four shades light at four heights so the fitting works as you climb past it rather than only from below. Also a narrow slot of wall or beside a bed, where 150 mm fits where almost nothing else does, or in pairs along a hallway.
It is the wrong shape for one. At 520 mm deep it hangs into the sightline across a table, and at 150 mm wide it lights a narrow strip rather than the table’s spread. Ask us about the Radam PE4 cluster at 240 mm high, or the PE8 tiered pendant.
Four E14 — the small screw base, SES — to 25 W each, 100 W total, none supplied. The glass shades hide them, so brightness and warmth are the only decisions and they need not match. Use warm 2700 K: against vintage brass, cool white reads green and flattens the finish.
With the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. On a vertical fitting it does something specific — taken low, the four shades separate into four distinct points at four heights instead of reading as one lit column, which in a stairwell is exactly the effect worth having.
Not recorded, on a four-light iron and glass fitting hanging on a 1.5-metre drop. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.
On a slim vertical frame the metal is a large share of what you see, so the finish matters more than on a cluster. Vintage brass is warm and aged and catches light down its length. Black turns the frame into a dark line, so the four glass shades read as separate points against the wall or void behind.
