Product Description
xThe Privas PE28 is a 280 mm frosted glass pendant in antique gold — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
This size is meant to be grouped — and our page was cut off saying so. It ended at “works beautifully as a single statement piece or grouped above kit—”, mid-word.
Grouping matters more here than usual, because both Privas sizes take the same single E27 globe. The 380 mm gives exactly as much light as this one — so a run of three 280 mm pendants is the only way to get more light from a Privas, and it is also better proportioned over an island than one large sphere.
Frosted glass — and it can hang low
The shade is frosted, so the globe is completely hidden and there is no glare from any angle. That is the practical reason to choose a Privas over the tinted and clear-glass pendants in this catalogue, whose sources are visible and which have to hang above eye level.
The Privas can hang low over an island or a bench, at the height where a pendant actually does its job, without anyone squinting. In a run of three at working height, that is the whole difference.
280 by 310 mm — the size for a run
On a 120 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. At this size a single Privas is a detail — right beside a bed, in a small entry or at a hallway end — and three over an island is a composition. Over a full dining table on its own it will look undersized; the 380 mm is the one for that.
The globe choice is simple, and matters in a run. One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. Nothing shows through frosted glass, so brightness and warmth are the only decisions — but if you are hanging three, buy the globes together so all three shades read the same. Use warm 2700 K: against antique gold, cool white reads green.
Dimming depends on the globe — our record says “No”, the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. In a run, three LEDs on one dimmer is where mismatched brands flicker: ask us for a matched set.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
