Product Description
xThe Pratt is a single-globe pendant in glass and solid brass, 335 mm high, finished in black.
Solid brass, not brass-plated
The metalwork is solid brass rather than plated steel. On a pendant hanging at eye level over a bench that is not a subtle difference — solid brass keeps its finish where plating wears through on the edges, and it will patina rather than flake.
Built for a visible globe
This is a fitting designed around the lamp you put in it. Fit an Edison-style filament globe and the pendant is complete; fit a plain frosted one and it reads as unfinished. The glass is there to frame the globe, not to hide it.
One globe, despite what our sheet says
Our supplier sheet lists three globes; the product is a 1 light pendant and that is what we publish. Buy one E27 globe, up to 25 W.
Small enough to group
335 mm high, 200 mm wide. A single Pratt suits a bedside or a corner; two or three in a row is what suits an island. At this size, one on its own over a wide bench will look lost.
It needs an earth
Class I — hard-wired, earth required. An electrician's install.
Where it works
- Kitchen islands, in a run of two or three.
- Bedsides, as a hanging alternative to a lamp.
- Bars and serveries.
- Anywhere a filament globe is meant to be seen.
Specifying it

What globe should I fit?
An Edison-style filament globe. The glass frames the globe rather than hiding it, so a plain frosted lamp leaves the pendant looking unfinished.
Is the brass solid or plated?
Solid. It keeps its finish where plating wears through on the edges, and it patinas rather than flaking.
How many should I hang over an island?
Two or three. At 200 mm wide, a single one looks lost over a wide bench.
Is a globe included?
No.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
