Product Description
xThe Pollard is a floor lamp with a marble base and a black and antique gold frame, standing 1,620 mm tall with a reach of 515 mm. That reach is the design: the light sits over a chair rather than beside it.
The marble is structural
An arm extending half a metre sideways at 1.6 m tall needs weight at the base or it tips. The ø280 mm marble base provides that in a small footprint, so the lamp stands close to furniture rather than in front of it. It also makes the lamp heavy to move — choose the position before carrying it in.
Reach over the seat, not around it
An offset floor lamp puts the shade above where you sit, which gives reading light without needing a side table. That is useful in a room with no space for one, or where a table lamp's cable would cross a walkway.

- Behind or beside a sofa, with the head over the seat.
- Reading chairs with no room for a side table.
- Bedrooms, reaching over the bed.
- Rentals and apartments, since it plugs in.
Specifying it
Height 1,620 mm, reach 515 mm, base ø280 mm, in marble and iron. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Marble is porous — keep the base away from anything that will spill on it, and wipe promptly if something does.

How far does the arm reach?
515 mm from the base, at 1,620 mm tall — designed to put the light over a chair rather than beside it.
Why a marble base?
It is structural. An arm reaching half a metre sideways needs weight at the bottom to stay stable.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It plugs into a normal socket.
Does the marble need care?
It is porous, so wipe spills promptly rather than letting them stand.
Is it dimmable?
Globe dependent. Fit a dimmable globe and use a plug-in dimmer.
What is the warranty?
Three years.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
