The Poetix PE35 is a 350 mm pendant with stacked-sphere detailing and an ivory shade — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.

Stacked spheres — the detail the range is built on

Above the shade the stem is formed as a column of stacked spheres, which is what makes the Poetix recognisable. It matters for a practical reason too: with a 2,000 mm suspension, most of what you actually see on a pendant is the stem, not the shade. A plain rod is invisible; a sculpted one becomes part of the fitting. That is the whole design idea.

Matt gold or glossy beige — and the old table said both were gloss

The two finishes are genuinely different, not just different colours:

• Gold in matt — warm metal without reflection. It reads as soft and aged, and the sphere detail shows as form rather than highlights.
• Beige in gloss — a pale, reflective finish where the spheres catch light along their curves. Quieter in colour, livelier in surface.

Both carry the same ivory shade, so the light is identical — what changes is the stem. The old specification table called both “Gloss”, which is wrong for the gold.

350 by 473 mm — taller than it is wide

A 350 mm shade under a 473 mm overall height, with the shade itself 220 mm deep. That upright proportion suits the stem detail: the eye travels down the spheres to the shade. On a 100 mm canopy by 60 mm.

One of a family of four

Poetix runs as a table lamp, a floor lamp and two pendant sizes, all with the stacked spheres and the ivory shades. Because the stem is the recognisable part, pieces at different heights read as one family more strongly than most ranges manage.

One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
