Pinta LED Louvered Step Light CCT 2.3W White Havit Lighting - HV2925T-12V-WHT

HV2925T-12V-WHT is the louvred Pinta: the same round white surface-mounted body as the eyelid models in this range, but with a louvred face instead of a hood. Havit lists it as a wall or step light with louvres, in poly powder coated white on an aluminium body. Where the eyelid version shields the aperture from above, the louvres sit across the opening itself, so the two look and read quite differently on a wall even though the body and the LED are the same.

This model is 12 V DC only, and that is not a choice on this page. There is one part number and it is low voltage. It requires an appropriate 12 V DC LED driver, and Havit's instructions for the range say in capitals DO NOT CONNECT LIGHT FITTING DIRECTLY TO 240V. Being low voltage, it is listed as requiring no earth. Two conditions come with that supply and both affect the warranty: the voltage at the fitting must be within ±5% of the required voltage, and the fitting must sit no more than 25 m from the LED driver. If you need a mains version of this body, the eyelid Pinta is sold in a 240 V part number — the louvred face is not.

The light itself. The LED is built in, so no globe is supplied and there is no lampholder to match. It is tri-colour: 3000 K at 160 lm, 4000 K at 170 lm and 5500 K at 180 lm, from a maximum of 2.3 W. Beam angle is 120°, the diffuser is glass, and colour rendering is CRI>80. It is not dimmable. Two honest gaps are worth naming rather than filling: Havit publishes no glare figure for this fitting, so nothing here claims one for the louvres, and Havit's installation instructions give a step-by-step sequence for the other Pinta models but not for this one — including the method for selecting the colour temperature. Use the instruction leaflet supplied in the box for that, and have the electrician set the temperature before the face is refitted.

Fitting it. The installation type is Wall — Surface Mounted: a base plate is fixed to the wall first, and every hole through it — cable entry and screw holes — has to be sealed to keep water out of the connections. The cable tail is 150 mm, so the outlet needs to be close. Where several fittings share a run, Havit specifies parallel wiring. The o-rings and seals must be correctly in place for the warranty to stand, and modifying the fitting voids it outright.

One siting restriction, in Havit's own words. The instructions for this range state that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environments. This fitting has an aluminium body, so the clause reaches it, and it is a warranty exclusion rather than guidance — check the distance before specifying it for a beachside job. Elsewhere it is sealed to IP65, rated IK10 for impact, and covered by 3 Years Replacement warranty on items ordered after 01-01-2022. No face diameter is published as a specification on this model's data sheet, only unlabelled figures on a dimension drawing, so work to the base plate in front of you rather than to a number.
