Product Description
xThe Perova is a 500 mm solid brass outdoor wall light with a tall clear glass cylinder, in natural brass or black, rated IP44.
Solid brass, which is not what most exterior lights are
The usual exterior wall light is painted die-cast aluminium: it chalks, pits and eventually blisters. Solid brass weathers instead — the natural brass version will patina over years, and the black version is brass beneath the paint, so a knock reveals metal rather than a grey substrate.
The cylinder is meant to show the globe
Clear glass, 500 mm tall. Fit a vintage filament globe and the fitting reads as industrial and deliberate; fit a plain frosted globe and you have wasted the glass. This is a fitting where the globe is a design decision, and it is the single cheapest way to change how it looks.
Slim, so it suits a narrow wall
At ø155 mm and 192 mm projection it is tall rather than wide. That proportion works beside a door where a broad lantern would crowd the architrave, and it reads as mid-century rather than traditional.
IP44 — rain and splashing. Correct for an entry, a porch or a sheltered wall. Not for direct hosing or a coastal salt-spray position.
E27 to 25 W, not supplied
Dimming depends on the globe you fit — there is no driver in the fitting. If you are putting one either side of a door, buy both globes together.

Questions
Why brass rather than aluminium?

What globe should I fit?
A vintage filament E27, up to 25 W. The glass is clear and tall — a frosted globe wastes it.
Can it be hosed or used near the coast?
No. IP44 covers rain and splashing on a sheltered wall, not direct hosing or salt spray.
Is there a smaller version?
Yes — Perova is made in two sizes. Ask us if 500 mm is more than your wall wants.
Is a globe included?
No, and dimming depends on the globe you fit — there is no driver in the fitting.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
