Pelion Pendant Light 5Lt

The Pelion 5Lt is a ø560 mm five-light pendant with ribbed glass shades on an iron frame — in antique gold or chrome.

Ribbed glass, which is not the same as frosted

Vertical ribs break the light into fine lines as it leaves each shade. Lit, the glass develops a striped, prismatic quality that flat frosted glass never has — and the ribs catch the metal finish along their edges, so the same shade reads warm on antique gold and cool on chrome. The finish choice changes the glass, not just the frame.

Wide and shallow

ø560 mm across but only 200 mm deep. Five shades spread across more than half a metre with almost no drop — so it covers a round dining table or an island in a room with an ordinary ceiling, where a deeper five-light would be in the way.

The suspension is 1,500 mm

Shorter than the 2,000 mm most of this range carries. Over a standard 2.4-metre ceiling that is ample; check it against a raked or double-height space and tell us if you need more.

It is heavy — 5.6 kg

Substantial for its size, which is the ribbed glass. Mention it to your electrician before installation day: this wants a proper fixing, not a plasterboard anchor.

Five E27 globes — 25 W each, 125 W total

Not supplied. ⚠ Our record says E14; the datasheet and the old page both say E27, and that is what we publish — but confirm with us before buying five globes. Because the glass is ribbed rather than opaque, the globe is partly visible, so a warm filament globe is worth fitting. Buy all five from one batch.

One, four and five-light versions

Pelion runs in three sizes, both finishes. Singles down a hallway and the five over the table read as one scheme.
