Patino 30Cm Pendant Light

The Patino PE30 is a 300 mm glass sphere pendant in amber, smoke or green — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.

The middle size — and the one that works either way

300 mm wide by 370 mm high. This is the size that is large enough to hang singly over a small table, a bedside or an entry, and small enough to run in a group of three over a bench without crowding. The 200 mm really wants to be in a run; the 400 mm is a single statement.

Amber, smoke or green — a choice about light

All three are tinted, not frosted, so the globe stays visible and the glass colours the light on its way out:

• Amber — adds warmth; candle-like light, and the sphere looks bright and jewel-like lit. The most flattering over a table.
• Smoke — cuts and cools; dimmer and restrained, and a dark object when off.
• Green — unusual in this catalogue and the most decisive. Best where there is timber, brass or planting to answer it.

Hang it above eye level

Because the source is visible, a Patino at seated eye height across a table is uncomfortable to look at. Over a bench, in a stairwell, at a hallway end, or over a table at a proper height, it does exactly what it is for.

Where it works

• Over small tables, bedsides and entries — singly.
• In runs of three over a bench, above eye level.
• Mixed tints in one run — amber, smoke and green.
• ⚠ No brighter than the 200 mm — same globe.
• ⚠ The globe is visible — buy a decorative filament.

300 mm wide by 370 mm high, canopy 100 mm by 25 mm in black, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, in iron and tinted glass. Weight is not recorded — ask us. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied and visible; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
