The Patino PE20 is a 200 mm glass sphere pendant in amber, smoke or green — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
All three Patinos are tinted, not frosted, so the globe is visible and the glass colours the light on its way out. The three do quite different things:
The globe is visible, so choose it deliberately. One E27 to 25 W, not supplied, and through tinted glass you see it clearly.
Ask us and we will match one.
Because the source is visible, a Patino at seated eye height across a table is uncomfortable to look at. Over a bench, in a stairwell, at the end of a hallway, or in a run well above an island, it does exactly what it is for.
200 mm wide by 280 mm high, on a 100 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. At this size a single Patino is a detail; three or five in a run is a composition, and it is how the range is meant to be used. The Patino comes in three sizes, so a larger one over a table with these along a bench is a coherent scheme.
Mixing the colours is worth considering. In a run of three, amber, smoke and green together reads as deliberate and collected rather than repetitive — and because each tint transmits differently, the three give visibly different light as well as different colour. Ask us about availability across the three.
Dimming depends on the globe — our record carries no value at all; the datasheet says globe dependent. With a visible filament inside tinted glass, dimming is the single best thing you can do for how this fitting looks. Fit a dimmable E27 and a wall dimmer, and in a run ask us for a matched set.
⚠ No weight is recorded, and the record carries no material at all for a fitting whose glass sphere is the entire design. It is Class I — earth required and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
200 mm wide by 280 mm high, canopy 100 mm by 25 mm in black, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, in iron and tinted glass. Weight is not recorded — ask us. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied and visible; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
They do different things to the light. Amber adds warmth to an already-warm globe so it reads candle-like and looks jewel-like when lit — the most flattering over a table. Smoke cuts and cools the output: dimmer, more restrained, and a dark object when off. Green tints the light green, which is a strong commitment and works best where there is timber, brass or plants to answer it.
A decorative LED filament in a warm 2700 K — the tint and the filament together are the whole effect. A bare white capsule will look unfinished. The globe is clearly visible through tinted glass.
Above eye level. The source is visible, so a Patino at seated eye height across a table is uncomfortable to look at. Over a bench, in a stairwell, at the end of a hallway, or well above an island, it does exactly what it is for.

With the right globe — our record carries no value and the datasheet says globe dependent. With a visible filament inside tinted glass, dimming is the single best thing you can do for how this fitting looks. In a run, ask us for a matched set.
Iron and tinted glass — though our record carries no material at all, on a fitting whose glass sphere is the entire design.
