⭐ “Requires: 1 × B22 Globe (not included).” ⭐ Bayonet, matching the rest of the Paris range — ⚠ except the half wall bracket, which is E27. ⛔ No maximum wattage is published, ⚠ which matters inside an enclosed acrylic lantern. ⭐ Prefer LED.

Post top lantern head with 60 mm fitter. L 175 × W 105 × H 415 mm. Die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lens. IP43. 240 V AC. 1 × B22 lamp required, not included. Made in Italy, assembled and powder coated in Australia. Five colours. 12-month replacement warranty. Made to order, allow up to 10 business days. ⭐ THE 60mm FITTER IS THE NUMBER THAT DECIDES WHETHER THIS FITS, and it appears in the description only — in no specification field, on a 550-character listing. ⭐ MEASURE THE SPIGOT, not the post body: many posts taper. ⭐ THE REASON TO CHOOSE A POST TOP is that replacing a lantern head keeps the post, the footing and the cable — which is the expensive, disruptive part. Digging out a concreted post is a landscaping job; changing a head is an afternoon.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
If your post has a 60mm spigot, yes. That is the fitter size, and it is the only question that really matters — this is a lantern head rather than a complete post light, so it slides onto a post you already have. 60mm is the common spigot size for garden and street posts, so most purpose-made posts will take it.
In the description, and nowhere else. It appears in no specification field, and this is a 550-character listing, so it is one clause in one sentence. That is worth stating plainly, because it is the single dimension the purchase depends on.
The outside diameter of the spigot, not the post body. Many posts taper, so the top is narrower than the base and measuring the wrong point gives the wrong answer. If it is not 60mm, tell us and we will check what adapts.
A timber post, a square post, or a masonry pillar. For a pillar there is a dedicated Paris pillar mount instead, which is designed to sit on a flat masonry top rather than slide over a spigot.
Because replacing a lantern head keeps the post, the footing and the cable — which is the expensive, disruptive part of a post light. Digging out a concreted post and re-running a garden cable is a landscaping job; changing a head is an afternoon.
Yes, and this is where it earns its keep. If three of five posts along a drive have failed, five Paris post tops make them a matched set again — where five new complete posts would mean five new footings and five holes in the garden.
No — 1 x B22 globe is required and not included. Bayonet, matching the rest of the Paris range, except the half wall bracket which is E27. No maximum wattage is published, which matters inside an enclosed acrylic lantern where heat has nowhere to go, so prefer LED.
