A 200 W outdoor transformer — 240 V mains in, 24 V DC out — for larger low-voltage landscape schemes.

This is the part most people forget. Every 24 V Telbix fitting — Terin, Elgin, Manus, Clovis, Rilto, Enoki, Raker — needs a transformer, and none of them include one.

200 watts runs a real garden

Load it to about 80% of its rating — roughly 160 W of fittings. At 3 W each that is fifty or more garden lights on one circuit; with 5 W spikes, around thirty. This is the unit for a whole property rather than a courtyard.

One transformer beats many drivers

Rather than a driver per fitting hidden in a dozen places, you run one box feeding the whole scheme — one thing to find, one thing to service, and the entire garden switches together. On a large installation that is the difference between a maintainable system and a treasure hunt.

Plan the circuit before you buy

Long low-voltage runs lose voltage over distance, so a big garden is not simply a matter of a bigger transformer — cable size and run length matter too. Send us your fitting list and a rough plan and we will size it properly, rather than guessing at the counter.

Why 24 volts is worth it

Everything past the transformer runs at extra-low voltage — Class III. In ground that gets dug, edged and watered for years, that is a real safety margin.

It lives outdoors

Published as IP67 — the lower of our two figures; the record says IP68. Rated for genuinely wet positions, not just a sheltered box. The housing is 245 × 76 mm on a 1,500 mm mains tail.

Double insulated

Class II — no earth required on the mains side. A licensed electrician is still needed to wire it in.

How many lights will it run?

Is a bigger transformer all I need for a big garden?

No. It is wired to 240 V mains and needs a licensed electrician.

Why is no height given?

Our record gives it a height of 3.8 mm — thinner than a coin — and the sheet has it lighter than the smaller transformer. Both figures are transposed with the 60 W unit.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
