Product Description
xThe Ortez is a 1,500 mm floor lamp with a domed metal shade on an arched arm, over a marble or terrazzo base, in four combinations.

The arched arm reaches over a chair
The arm curves out from the base so the shade sits over a seat or a side table rather than beside it. That is what makes a single-globe lamp useful for reading — light on the page instead of on the floor next to you.
Marble or terrazzo, gold or bronze
Two bases sit on marble, two on terrazzo — speckled, cast, and much more contemporary than veined stone. Metalwork is antique gold or bronze. The base is the weight that lets a 1.5 m lamp with an offset arm stand safely.
A domed metal shade directs the light
Opaque iron, so the light goes down where you aim it and does not spill across the room. That makes this a reading and mood lamp rather than a room light — buy it for a corner, not for general illumination.
A foot switch on the cord
The 2,000 mm cable carries a foot switch about 500 mm from the lamp — you turn it on without bending down, which is exactly what you want beside an armchair.

One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Marble and terrazzo are natural and cast materials, so every base differs slightly.

How many finishes are there?
Four — two on marble and two on terrazzo, with antique gold or bronze metalwork. An earlier version of this page said two.
Is it a reading lamp?
Yes. The arched arm puts the shade over the seat, and the domed metal shade directs light down rather than spreading it.
Where is the switch?
A foot switch on the cord, about 500 mm from the lamp — so you do not have to bend down.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated and plugs into a normal socket.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
