The Opex 1800 mm is the long member of a two-length walnut timber pendant range — part number HV6014T, 28 W built-in LED, suspended on an adjustable cable from a black canopy. At 1.8 m it is a fitting for a long dining table, a full-length island, a boardroom table or a reception desk, where a shorter pendant leaves the ends of the surface unlit.
The 1800 mm draws 28 W and measures 2240 lm at 3000K, 2520 lm at 4000K and 2380 lm at 5500K; the 1200 mm draws 20 W. So the longer fitting is about 40% brighter overall while spreading that light over 50% more length — it is not a brighter version of the small one, it is the same light per metre stretched further. Pick on the surface you are lighting rather than on the output figure: a 1.8 m pendant over a 1.4 m table overhangs it, and a 1.2 m pendant over a 2.4 m table leaves both ends dim.
A slide switch inside the canopy selects 3000K, 4000K or 5500K before the fitting is closed, and it arrives preset to 3000K. 4000K is the brightest of the three at 2520 lm; the coolest setting gives about 6% less. The switch is a warmth decision, not a brightness one, and over walnut the warm end is usually the one that suits the timber. Colour rendering is CRI >80, colour consistency SDCM <6, and glare is rated UGR <25 behind a polycarbonate diffuser with a 120° spread.
The cable is 3000 mm and adjustable, and Havit's step 4 has the electrician "adjust cable length and cut off any excess" — so the drop is set once, permanently, at installation. Fix the bracket, set the height, then trim. The canopy pushes up over the bracket and is locked with screws in its side, hiding the fixings.
It runs on 240 V AC and is Protection Class 1, so an earth is required at the fitting and the installation sheet has the earth connected first. It is Triac dimmable from an ordinary wall dimmer, with Havit's HV9625 300 W LED Dial Dimmer offered to suit, and multiple fittings are wired in parallel. A licensed electrician installs it to AS/NZS 3000.
Rated IP20 and IK05: no water rating, so this is an interior fitting only — a dining room, kitchen, office or foyer, never a bathroom, an eave or a carport. The body is walnut timber with aluminium in walnut and black, and Havit states that "variations in colour, grain, and natural markings are inherent to walnut timber and are not considered defects". Two pendants ordered together will differ in grain and tone, and on a fitting this long the grain is a large part of what you are buying. Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You publishes here only what this model's own dated data sheet and its installation sheet state for part number HV6014T.
1800 mm. The shorter Opex in the same finish is 1200 mm and draws 20 W; this one draws 28 W.
4000K, at 2520 lm. 3000K gives 2240 lm and 5500K gives 2380 lm, so the coolest setting is not the brightest.
Not upward. The 3000 mm cable is adjustable at installation and Havit’s instructions have the electrician cut off the excess, so set the height before it is trimmed.
A slide switch inside the canopy, set before the canopy is closed. It arrives preset to 3000K and is not changed from the wall or from an app.
Yes — Triac dimmable from a standard wall dimmer, and Havit lists the HV9625 300 W LED Dial Dimmer as the matching accessory.
Yes. Protection Class 1, and the installation sheet connects the earth first. Licensed electrician, AS/NZS 3000.
No. It is IP20 with no water rating, and the body is timber. Indoor positions only.
