Product Description
xThe Oliana is a 1,650 mm floor lamp topped with mouth-blown alabastro glass on hand-polished antique gold, over a black marble base.
Alabastro is not frosted glass
Alabastro is glass made to look like alabaster — a soft, milky stone with faint internal cloudiness rather than a uniform white. Lit from within it glows unevenly, the way real alabaster does, which is precisely the effect frosted glass cannot produce. Mouth-blown, so each piece carries its own variation.
Simple on purpose
A straight stem, a glass at the top, a stone base. There is no arm, no shade, no adjustment — the lamp is a vertical line and a glowing form. That restraint is why it sits in a contemporary room without competing with anything.
The switch is on the lamp
A centrally located switch on the metalware, rather than somewhere along the cable. On a 1.65 m lamp that is at hand height — you reach out rather than hunt along the floor.
Marble does the balancing
A tall, slim lamp with the weight at the top needs a real counterweight. The black marble base provides it, and being natural stone, every base is veined differently.
E27 to 25 W, not supplied
Behind alabastro glass a plain warm globe is right — the glass is the feature, and a decorative filament would be invisible inside it. Dimming depends on the globe you fit.

- Beside a sofa, as ambient rather than reading light.
- Bedroom corners.
- Contemporary and minimalist interiors.
- Rooms where a shaded lamp would feel fussy.

Questions
What is alabastro glass?
Glass made to resemble alabaster — soft and milky with faint internal cloudiness, so it glows unevenly the way real stone does. Frosted glass cannot produce that effect.
Is it a reading lamp?
Not really. The glass glows in all directions, so it gives ambient light rather than a directed pool.
Where is the switch?
Centrally on the metalware, at hand height — not along the cable.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W. A plain warm globe is right; a decorative filament would be invisible inside the glass.
Is it stable?
Yes — the black marble base counterbalances the weight at the top.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated with a lead and plug, though assembly is required.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
