A round pendant, Ø330mm and 80mm deep, in a walnut-coloured finish, suspended rather than fixed to the ceiling. At 20W it suits a dining table, an island or an entry, close enough to the surface to light it properly without being a room light.
The finish is what this fitting is bought for. A warm timber-toned disc hanging over a table reads very differently from the white or metal pendants that dominate the category, and it pairs naturally with timber furniture rather than sitting against it.
The fitting draws 20W and is tri-colour, with the colour temperature selected at installation rather than fixed at manufacture: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, rated at 2000lm, 2200lm and 2100lm respectively. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI and the beam is 120°.
Given the warm finish, 3000K is usually the setting that suits it — a cool white behind a timber-toned rim tends to fight the fitting rather than work with it.
At Ø330mm the Noyer is a size that works both singly and in a row. Over a long island two or three at even spacing cover the surface without any one of them dominating it; over a round table a single pendant centred on the table is usually better than a cluster.
Where several are hung together, set them all to the same colour temperature at the same time. The selection is made per fitting, so one pendant left on a different setting in a row is immediately obvious, and correcting it afterwards means getting back up to a fitting that has already been levelled and set.
The Noyer is dimmable, which over a dining table matters more than almost any other specification. Have your electrician confirm the dimmer type suits the fitting.
It runs on 240V mains and requires no driver. It is a Class 1 fitting and requires an earth connection, so installation is work for a licensed electrician.
It is rated IP20 and IK05 — a dry-interior fitting with no water protection, so not for a bathroom wet zone or any covered outdoor area. Set the drop height with the table in place rather than from a drawing, so the underside clears the sightline across the table while staying low enough to light it.
Rated lamp expectancy is >30,000 hrs and the LED is built in, so there is no globe to buy or replace.
