The 510 mm Noyer is where this range stops being a ceiling light and starts being the feature of the room. It is a Ø510 mm ring of real walnut over an aluminium chassis, still only 80 mm deep, with a polycarbonate diffuser across the face. On a white ceiling it reads as a disc of timber; lit, the whole face glows rather than showing a bright spot in the middle.
It produces 3,500–3,700 lm across a 120° spread. That is a genuine single-fitting solution for an open living room, a large main bedroom, or a dining space where you would otherwise run four or five downlights. Where it earns its keep is exactly there — replacing a grid of downlights with one soft source removes the scalloping on the walls and the shadows under people's eyes that a downlight array creates.
Havit states it plainly on the sheet: walnut varies in colour, grain, texture and tone, and knots, mineral streaks and colour variation are natural characteristics rather than defects. On a 510 mm ring there is a lot of timber on show, so expect the grain to be part of the look rather than an even stain.
Selected at installation from a switch inside the fitting: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K. 4000K is the brightest at 3,700 lm, with 5500K at 3,600 lm and 3000K at 3,500 lm — so the coolest setting is not the strongest, and the warm setting costs about 5% of the output. In a living room with timber and soft furnishings, 3000K is usually the right answer.
This is an IP20 indoor fitting and it is Protection Class 1, so an earth must be connected at the fitting — worth flagging to your electrician, since most surface oysters they handle are Class 2. It takes 240 V AC directly, with no driver to conceal above the ceiling, and it is Triac dimmable with Havit's HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer as the matched control. Impact rating is IK05, colour consistency SDCM <6, glare UGR <25, and the warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You keeps every Noyer diameter in stock in both ceiling and suspended form, so you can put the same timber above a table and flush to the ceiling in one project.
That is what it is for. 3,500–3,700 lm from one 120° source lights an open living or dining room without the wall scalloping and hard shadows a downlight grid produces. Your electrician can usually run it off one of the existing points.
About 15% — 3,500–3,700 lm against 3,000–3,200 lm. The bigger difference is the spread of the source: a wider face means softer shadows, which is more noticeable in a room than the lumen figure.
Yes. Havit specifies Protection Class 1 across the Noyer range, so an earth connection is required at the fitting.
4000K, at 3,700 lm. 5500K gives 3,600 lm and 3000K gives 3,500 lm, so output peaks at the middle setting rather than the coolest one.
Yes — walnut timber over an aluminium chassis. Havit notes that variation in colour, grain, texture and tone, along with knots and mineral streaks, is inherent to the material and is not treated as a fault.
No. It is IP20 and specified for indoor use only. Neither the rating nor the timber suits a wet or exposed position.
It is Triac dimmable and Havit pairs it with the HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer. As with any LED, the quality of the low end depends on the dimmer — a matched Triac control will hold a lower level than an unbranded phase-cut unit.
