This is the suspended version of the 420 mm Noyer: the same real-walnut ring over an aluminium chassis, the same polycarbonate face, hung from a 3,000 mm cable that is adjustable at installation off a Ø120 mm × 25 mm canopy. The body itself is Ø420 mm and 80 mm deep, so what hangs in the room is a slim disc of timber rather than a shade.
Over a four-to-six seat dining table, over a kitchen bench, or centred in a stairwell or entry void. The rule that matters is the drop: for a dining table, the base of the fitting usually wants to land 750–900 mm above the tabletop — high enough to see across, low enough to feel like it belongs to the table. Over a bench where people stand, keep it above head height for anyone using the space. The cable is cut and adjusted on site, so the height is a decision to make with your electrician, not one you order.
A built-in 35 W LED gives 3,000–3,200 lm over a 120° spread. Because the face is wide and diffused rather than a small bright source, it lights a table without the hard shadows a narrow pendant throws, and it is bright enough to be the working light over a bench as well as the mood light over dinner.
The tri-colour switch inside the fitting selects 3000K, 4000K or 5500K once, at installation. 4000K is the brightest at 3,200 lm; 5500K gives 3,100 lm and 3000K gives 3,000 lm. Over a dining table with walnut on show, 3000K is the natural choice and costs only about 6% of the output.
Walnut is a natural material and Havit says so on the sheet: variation in colour, grain, texture and tone, including knots and mineral streaks, is inherent to it rather than a fault. The fitting is IP20 and indoor only, IK05, and Protection Class 1 — an earth is required at the fitting. It runs on 240 V AC with no separate driver, is Triac dimmable against Havit's HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer, and quotes CRI >80, SDCM <6 and UGR <25. Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You stocks the matching 420 mm ceiling oyster as well, which is the usual way people run the timber through a kitchen and dining space without hanging a pendant in every room.
Most people land on 750–900 mm from the tabletop to the base of the fitting. The supplied cable is 3,000 mm and is adjusted on site, so your electrician sets the exact drop once the table is in place.
Ø120 mm and 25 mm deep. The fitting itself is Ø420 mm and 80 mm deep, so the visible ceiling hardware is small relative to the shade.
4000K, at 3,200 lm. 5500K gives 3,100 lm and 3000K gives 3,000 lm — the middle setting is the brightest, not the coolest.
Yes. Havit specifies the Noyer range as Protection Class 1, so an earth connection is required at the fitting.
Yes. 3,000–3,200 lm from a 120° diffused face is a working level over a kitchen bench as well as a comfortable level over a table. It is dimmable if you want to drop it for dinner.
It will be the same walnut and the same 420 mm ring, but not an exact colour match — Havit notes that grain, tone and natural markings vary piece to piece and are not treated as defects.
No. It is IP20 and specified indoor only. A covered alfresco is still outside what the rating and the timber are intended for.
