Product Description
xThe Nova is a slim floor lamp in seven colourways — the widest colour range of any fitting in this catalogue. It stands 1,547 mm on a ø120 mm base, and unusually for a floor lamp it is rated IP44.
IP44 on a floor lamp is rare
Most floor lamps are IP20 — strictly dry indoor use. The Nova is rated against splashing from any direction, which means it can be used on a covered verandah or an alfresco area where an ordinary floor lamp could not go. It is not for permanent outdoor installation, but a sheltered outdoor room is genuinely within scope.
Seven colours, four of them not neutral
Antique brass, nickel and white are the safe choices. Blue, pink, grey and dark grey are deliberate colours — rare in floor lamps, and the reason the range exists. In a room of neutrals one of these is an accent; in a busy room it will compete.
A small footprint for its height
At ø120 mm the base takes almost no floor, so the Nova tucks beside a sofa or into a corner where a tripod would not fit. The trade is that it is lighter and less stable than a weighted lamp — keep it out of a walkway.

- Covered verandahs and alfresco areas, using the IP44 rating.
- Tight corners beside furniture, where the small base fits.
- Bedrooms and reading corners.
- Rooms wanting a colour accent rather than another neutral.

Height 1,547 mm, base ø120 mm, cable 1,800 mm. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Rated IP44. Warranty is one year, shorter than the three years most of the range carries.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. If you are using it outdoors under cover, run it from a weatherproof outlet and bring it in when the weather turns — IP44 covers splashing, not a storm.
Questions
Can I use it outside?
Under cover, yes. It is IP44 — protected against splashing from any direction, which is unusual for a floor lamp. It is not for permanent outdoor installation.
What colours are there?
Seven: antique brass, black, blue, dark grey, grey, nickel, pink and white — the widest colour range in this catalogue.
How tall is it?
1,547 mm on a ø120 mm base. (Our sources disagree — one says 2,050 mm — so ask us if the exact height is critical.)
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Is it stable?
The ø120 mm base is small for the height, so it fits tight corners but is lighter than a weighted lamp. Keep it out of a walkway.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It plugs into a normal socket — use a weatherproof outlet if it is outdoors under cover.
What is the warranty?
One year — shorter than most of the Telbix catalogue.

xWarranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
