Nori 12 Pendant Light 1 Lt in Black/Opal Matt

The Nori is a ø140 mm single pendant in satin black with mouth-blown ribbed opal matt glass, on textile cable.

A lantern, reinterpreted

The form comes from traditional lanterns — but stripped of the frame and the metalwork, leaving only the glass shape and a thin satin black fitting. That reference is why it reads as familiar without being period.

Ribbed and opal at once

An unusual combination. Ribbing normally gets paired with clear glass so the filament repeats down each groove. Here it is on opal matt, so the light is fully diffused and the ribs read as texture on a glowing surface rather than as sparkle. The result is soft and quiet — and it means a plain warm globe is all you need.

Three shapes in the family

Nori is made in three distinct mouth-blown glass shapes, as single and multi-light pendants and as a floor and table lamp. Mixing two shapes over an island is the intended use.

Small, so group it

At ø140 mm and 270 mm high a single Nori suits a bedside or a corner. Over a bench, three or five — ideally in mixed shapes — is what the range is designed for.

E27 to 25 W, not supplied

Behind opal matt glass, a decorative filament globe is invisible. Buy a plain warm globe and spend the difference on another pendant.
