Product Description
xThe Noral bollard is a 900 mm exterior post light in black with a clear diffuser — 10 W giving 345 lm at 3000 K, rated IP65, with colour rendering above CRI 85.
✅ The CRI is the part worth knowing, and nobody mentioned it. CRI above 85 is high for an exterior fitting — most garden lighting sits in the seventies. It is the difference between planting that looks green and alive at night and planting that looks grey and flat. If you are lighting a garden rather than just a path, that number matters more than the lumens do.
345 lumens on a 900 mm post — what it does
A bollard is not a floodlight, and this one is honest about its scale:
- It puts a pool of light around its own base, roughly a 2 m to 3 m circle, and marks its own position clearly from further away.
- Spaced 3 m to 4 m apart along a path, a run of them gives continuous, even, glare-free light to walk by — which is a genuinely different result from the 18-lumen markers in this catalogue.
- At 900 mm it lights the ground and the lower planting, and does not shine in anyone's eyes. That is the whole point of the height.
- ⚠ It is not the fitting to light a driveway or a car park — ask us about flood lights for that.
Efficacy works out at 34 lm/W, which is modest, and for the same reason a marker's is: a bollard shields its source deliberately so you get light on the ground rather than glare at eye level.
The matching wall light — the reason to choose Noral
The Noral is a range, not a single fitting: this bollard has a matching exterior wall light. That is worth more than it sounds. An entry where the wall light beside the door and the bollards down the path are visibly the same design reads as designed; the far more common result — a wall light from one range and path lights from another — reads as accumulated. IP65 — fully weather rated
IP65: dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Rain, sprinklers, hosing and a driveway wash are all fine. This is the rating you want on something standing in the open, and it is one step above the IP54 markers in this catalogue.
⚠ It is Class I — earth required, and it runs on 240 V mains, so unlike the low-voltage garden fittings it needs a licensed electrician and a mains circuit run to it. Budget for the trenching.

How far apart should I space them?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
