Product Description
xThe Nevin is a 355 mm exterior wall light in metal and glass, rated IP44, in black.
IP44 is rain and splash, not "superior weatherproofing". An earlier version of this page used that phrase. It suits a sheltered wall, an entry or a porch — not direct hosing, full exposure or coastal salt spray.
Light for an exterior fitting
At 1.7 kg the Nevin is considerably lighter than the solid-brass exterior lights in this range — the Cantena is 4.1 kg. That makes it far easier on a plasterboard-lined or rendered wall fixing, and it is worth knowing before you commit to a position.
Slim, at 175 mm wide
Tall and narrow rather than broad. Beside a door or on a narrow pier it sits comfortably where a wide lantern would crowd the architrave.
25 W maximum — the lower of two figures
Our sources say 25 W and 40 W. We publish 25 W, because a globe within the lower limit is safe either way and one over it may not be. E27, and not supplied; dimming depends on the globe you fit.
It needs an earth
Class I — hard-wired, earth required. An electrician's install.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
