Product Description
xThis is the largest of the 12 V DC Nella surface-mounted downlights at 24 W — no cut-out, honeycomb lens included, five selectable colour temperatures. Specify it by ceiling height rather than room size.

Order codes HV5844S-BLK-12V and HV5844S-WHT-12V run on 12 V DC
only and require a 12 V DC LED driver rated for the whole run. They must never be
connected directly to 240 V. A 240 V version of the same fitting is sold under its own
order codes.
Height decides it
A 24 W surface fitting on a 2.4 m ceiling sits close to eye level and will be felt as glare even behind a honeycomb lens. On a 3 m ceiling, a void or a stairwell it is the right choice, because the smaller fittings lose their throw before the light reaches the floor.

- High ceilings, voids and stairwells on a slab where no cut-out is possible.
- Retail, display and commercial interiors needing output without recessing.
- Alfresco and covered outdoor ceilings — IP54 covers rain and splashing.
- Low-voltage runs from one central dimmable driver.
Specifying it
The 24 W LED is built in — no globe, no socket. Five colour temperatures are selectable at installation across 2700 K–5700 K, giving roughly 1,554–1,968 lm depending on the setting, on a 60° beam. Triac dimmable with a dimmable 12 V driver, IP54, powder-coated aluminium in black or white.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. On a high ceiling, mock one fitting up before committing to the grid — throw at 3 m behaves very differently from the same fitting at 2.4 m.
Questions
Can I wire it to 240 V?
No. This is the 12 V DC version and requires a 12 V DC LED driver. A 240 V version exists under its own order codes.
Is 24 W too much for a normal ceiling?
On a 2.4 m ceiling it will read as glare. It suits 3 m-plus ceilings, voids and stairwells.
Does it need a cut-out?
No. It is surface mounted.
How many colour temperatures?
Five, selectable at installation across 2700 K to 5700 K.
Is it dimmable?
Triac dimmable, provided the 12 V driver is also dimmable.
How bright is it?
Roughly 1,554–1,968 lm depending on the colour-temperature setting.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
