Product Description
xThe Nativa TLS is a 330 mm table lamp in iron and raffia — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied — in black or white, on 1.8 metres of flex.
Two corrections to what this page used to say.
- It plugs in. The page said it “must be installed by a licensed electrician”. It has 1.8 metres of flex and is double insulated — fit a globe and plug it in.
- This size comes in black or white. The page offered “white, natural, or black”; the natural finish is stocked on the larger Nativa. If natural is what you want, buy the 380 mm size.
Raffia — and the record said “iron”
The shade is raffia, a woven natural palm fibre, and it is the whole idea. Because the weave is open rather than solid, light comes through the shade as well as out of it — a warm, broken, slightly dappled glow that a paper or fabric drum cannot produce. The weave varies, so no two are identical. Our record listed “Iron” alone.
330 mm tall, 230 mm across, 660 grams
The smaller Nativa, and the proportions matter: at 230 mm wide it fits a narrow bedside table, a shelf or a desk corner where the 320 mm version would crowd. At 660 g it is very light — keep it somewhere it will not be knocked.
The globe shows through, so choose it deliberately
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. Behind an open weave the globe is partly visible, so:
- Warm — 2700 K. Cool white through raffia looks wrong; the whole appeal is warmth.
- Frosted or opal, not a clear filament, so the weave reads evenly rather than showing a hot spot.
Dimming depends on the globe — our record carries no value at all, the datasheet says globe dependent. On a plug-in lamp that means an inline or plug-in dimmer with a dimmable E27; there is no wall dimmer in the circuit. On a small bedside lamp that is genuinely worth doing. Ask us and we will put the pair together.
A pair, or a pair of sizes
Two Nativas either side of a bed works because the shade is handmade and varies — they will read as a pair without looking machine-matched. Or run the 330 mm beside the bed and the 380 mm on the dresser, in the same finish, for the same reason.

Questions
Do I need an electrician?
No. It has 1.8 metres of flex and is double insulated — fit a globe and plug it in. Our page said it must be installed by a licensed electrician, which was wrong.
Does it come in natural?
Not in this size — the small Nativa is stocked in black and white. The natural finish is on the larger 380 mm version, so buy that size if natural is what you want.
What is the shade made of?
Raffia — a woven natural palm fibre — on an iron base, though our record listed “Iron” alone. The weave is open, so light comes through the shade as well as out of it, giving a warm, broken, dappled glow. No two are identical.
What globe should I fit?
A warm 2700 K E27, frosted or opal rather than clear. The globe is partly visible through the weave — cool white looks wrong through raffia, and a clear filament shows as a hot spot.
Can I dim it?

This is 330 mm tall and 230 mm across against 380 and 320 — so it fits a narrow bedside table, a shelf or a desk corner where the larger one would crowd.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
