MORENO II 3 LIGHT PENDANT

The Moreno II 3Lt is a three-light pendant with ribbed glass shades on an iron frame — in black, antique gold or antique silver.

The shades are the same size across the whole range

This is the genuinely useful thing about Moreno II, and the old page buried it: every fitting in the collection — pendants and wall lights, in every size — uses the same ribbed glass shade. So a three-light over the table, a single over the island and a pair of wall lights down the hall are visibly one family, not three things that nearly match. Very few ranges hold that discipline.

Ribbed glass, which is not the same as textured or frosted

Vertical ribs break the light into fine lines as it leaves the shade. Lit, the glass develops a striped, prismatic quality that flat frosted glass never does — and the ribs catch the metal finish along their edges, which is why the same shade reads warm on antique gold and cool on antique silver.

Three finishes, and the middle one is unusual

Antique silver is uncommon — softer and greyer than chrome, warmer than nickel. It suits rooms that want metal without warmth and without hardness. Antique gold is the classic choice, black the graphic one.

Three E14 globes — 25 W each, 75 W total

Note the base: E14 small Edison screw, not E27. Globes are not supplied, and because the glass is ribbed rather than opaque the globe is partly visible — a warm filament globe is worth fitting here. Buy all three together.
