Product Description
xThe Moran 4Lt is a 750 mm linear wall light carrying four mouth-blown opal matt globes beneath a central body — and it is rated IP44, so it belongs above a mirror.
IP44 is why this is a mirror light
Most decorative wall lights are IP20 and have no business near a basin. IP44 is rated against splashing from any direction, which puts the Moran in the bathroom or ensuite. Your electrician will confirm the zone, but the rating is the reason the fitting exists in this form.
Globes below the body, not behind it
The four glass globes sit under the central bar rather than being recessed into it. That throws light downward onto a face rather than up at the ceiling — which is what a mirror light has to do, and what distinguishes this from a decorative wall bar.
Opal matt, so no glare at the mirror
Mouth-blown opal matt diffuses fully. At a mirror, where you are looking straight at the fitting, that matters more than anywhere else in the house — clear glass at that height would be unpleasant.
750 mm suits a standard vanity
Long enough to light a full mirror evenly rather than just its centre. A three-light version is also made for narrower mirrors — ask us.
Four G9 globes, not supplied
6 W each, 24 W total. G9 is a small bi-pin capsule, not interchangeable with any screw base. Take all four from one batch — across a mirror light a colour mismatch is very visible.

- As a linear wall light elsewhere, where the IP44 is simply a bonus.

Can it go above a bathroom mirror?
Yes — that is what it is for. IP44 is rated against splashing from any direction; your electrician will confirm the zone.
Why are the globes underneath?
So light falls downward onto a face rather than up at the ceiling. That is what a mirror light has to do.
What globes does it take?
Four G9 capsules at 6 W each — 24 W total, not supplied. Take all four from one batch; a mismatch is very visible across a mirror light.
Is there a smaller version?
Yes — a three-light Moran for narrower mirrors. Ask us.
Why opal glass rather than clear?
You look straight at a mirror light, so full diffusion matters more here than anywhere else. Clear glass at that height would be unpleasant.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth — and it is a wet area.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
