Product Description
xThe Monteal 4Lt is a 350 mm open-lantern pendant — a black iron frame under an antique gold crown — taking four E14 globes.
25 W per globe, 100 W in total. An earlier version of this page said 100 W per lamp, and our record still carries that figure. It is four times the real limit, on E14 holders that are not rated anywhere near it. Fit globes up to 25 W each.
An open frame, so the globes are the light
There is no shade and no diffuser — the lantern is a cage. Everything you fit is visible and unshielded, which means two things: decorative filament globes are worth the money here, and a bare cool-white globe will look harsh. Warm globes, every time.
The gold crown against black iron
The frame is black; only the crown at the top is antique gold satin. That single band of warm metal is what keeps the fitting from reading as plain black ironwork, and it is why it sits comfortably in a transitional room rather than only an industrial one.
It tapers, and there are three sizes
The lantern narrows toward the base rather than running straight, which lightens it visually. Monteal is made in three sizes; this is the four-light. Ask us if you need the range to step up or down across a room.
Compact for a lantern
350 × 350 mm and 500 mm tall — small enough for a hallway or over a bedside, where lanterns usually overwhelm.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
