Product Description
xThe Monte 8Lt is a 670 mm brass pendant whose frosted glass shades are formed as leaves — eight of them, on E14 globes to 25 W each.
The leaf forms are the whole design
The shades are not cones or spheres. They are shaped as natural leaf formations in frosted glass, springing off a brass frame — so the fitting reads as something growing rather than something assembled. Lit, each leaf glows individually instead of merging into one mass, which is why the Monte holds its shape at night as well as by day.
Eight lights, 200 W in total
Be clear on the arithmetic, because this is where lighting copy usually goes wrong: 25 W per globe, eight globes, 200 W total. That is a real load on a circuit — worth mentioning to your electrician if it is joining an existing lighting run.
Wide and shallow
670 mm across but only 448 mm deep. It spreads rather than hangs, which suits a round table or an entry with an ordinary ceiling. A fitting this wide that dropped half a metre would be unusable in most Australian homes; this one is not.
It scales to 12 and 16 lights
Monte is made as a wall light and as 8, 12 and 16-light pendants. If this one is too modest for a stairwell or a double-height void, the larger versions are the same design — ask us.
Eight E14 globes, not supplied
Note the base: E14 small Edison screw, not the more common E27. Buy all eight from one batch — across eight frosted leaves a colour-temperature mismatch is glaring. Dimming is whatever the globes you fit will do.

Eight E14 globes at 25 W each — 200 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

How much power does it draw?
200 W with all eight globes at their 25 W maximum. Worth mentioning to your electrician if it is joining an existing lighting run.
What globes does it take?
Eight E14 small Edison screw globes at 25 W each, not supplied. E14 is not the more common E27.
Can I dim it?
That depends on the globes you fit — the fitting itself imposes no limit. Our record says "no", but the datasheet and the fitting's own construction say globe dependent, and we publish that.
Will it hang too low?
Unlikely. It is 670 mm wide but only 448 mm deep, so it spreads rather than drops — which is what makes a fitting this wide usable under an ordinary ceiling.
Are there bigger versions?
Yes — 12 and 16-light pendants, plus a matching wall light. Ask us.
Why do the shades look like leaves?
They are formed that way. Lit, each leaf glows individually rather than merging, so the fitting keeps its shape at night.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
