Product Description
xThe Monte PE12 is a 770 mm twelve-light pendant in brass with frosted glass leaf forms — twelve E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ It weighs 18.6 kilograms. Read that before you plan anything. That is four times the weight of most large ceiling fittings here — heavier than the 14 kg Moreno II, the 9.7 kg Invar and the 9.4 kg Landis — and it hangs from a single 130 mm canopy on a two-metre drop.
This is a structural question, not a fixing question. It is well beyond what a ceiling rose or a plasterboard anchor will carry, and on a two-metre suspension it puts movement as well as dead weight into the mount. Your electrician needs 18.6 kg and 2 m of drop before the ceiling is opened, and on a joisted ceiling it may need a noggin or a plate installed to take it. Tell us the ceiling type and we will talk it through.
Twelve leaf forms in frosted glass
The Monte's shape is drawn from natural leaf formations — twelve frosted glass elements arranged on a refined brass frame, each with a globe behind it.
Frosted rather than clear matters here. Each leaf glows as a whole surface rather than showing a bright point through it, so what you see from across a room is twelve lit shapes, not twelve globes. On a fitting this large that is the difference between a sculptural object and a chandelier full of visible lamps.
770 mm across, 448 mm high
A substantial dining-room centrepiece. Twelve sources spread across 770 mm light a table evenly rather than pooling, and at 25 W each — 300 W maximum there is no shortage of output.
Twelve globes to buy, and the glass makes it easy
Twelve E14 to 25 W each, none supplied. E14 is the small screw base — a candle or golf-ball globe. Because the frosted glass hides each globe, the choice is brightness and warmth only: no decorative filaments needed, and no requirement for the twelve to match visually, which on a twelve-globe fitting saves real trouble.
Use warm 2700 K — against a brass frame, cool white reads green. At LED wattages the real load is a small fraction of the 300 W maximum.
Dimming depends on the globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right — nothing in a fitting holding twelve E14s prevents it. Over a dining table that is worth having, and twelve LEDs on one dimmer is the hardest flicker case in this range. Do not mix brands. Ask us for a matched set of twelve.
⚠ A note on the range, and a question we have asked Telbix. Monte is offered as a wall light and as 8, 12 and 16-light pendants. The datasheet attached to the 16-light product is the same one as this twelve-light's — identical weight, identical height, twelve lamp holders. So either the 16-light is carrying the wrong sheet, or the two are closer than the names suggest. If you are choosing between the 12 and the 16, ask us and we will confirm the real light count and weight before you order.

Questions
How heavy is it?
18.6 kilograms — around four times the 9.4 kg Landis and the 9.7 kg Invar, hanging from a single 130 mm canopy on a two-metre drop. So each leaf glows as a whole surface rather than showing a bright point. From across a room you see twelve lit shapes, not twelve globes — which on a fitting this large is the difference between a sculptural object and a chandelier full of visible lamps.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
