2.4 m three-lantern exterior post light. 2380 mm high × 820 mm wide. Die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lens. IP43. 240 V AC. 3 × E27 lamps required, not included. Made in Italy, assembled and powder coated in Australia. Five colours. 12-month replacement warranty. Made to order, allow up to 10 business days. ⭐ IT IS NARROWER THAN THE TWO-LIGHT (820 vs 840mm) AND THAT IS NOT AN ERROR — two lanterns sit on a bar so the width is the full span; three sit in a triangle whose widest measurement is less. ⭐ SO THE THREE-LIGHT MAY BE THE EASIER FIT ON A NARROW VERGE, which is the opposite of what you would assume. ⛔ THE DEPTH IS NOT PUBLISHED for either, and a triangular head projects further front-to-back — that is the dimension that matters beside a driveway.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because of how the lanterns are arranged, not because of a data error. Two lanterns sit on a bar with one at each end, so the width is the full span between them. Three sit in a triangle or cluster — typically two forward and one back — and the widest measurement across that arrangement can be less than a two-across bar. So 820mm against 840mm is ordinary.
Yes, and pleasantly. The three-light is not simply "the bigger one" — it gives a third lamp and a fuller shape while taking very slightly less width. So on a narrow verge or close to a boundary the three-light may actually be the easier fit, which is the opposite of what most people would assume.
The depth. It is not published for either model, and it is the one that matters beside a driveway or a footpath, because a triangular head projects further front-to-back than a flat bar does. Ask us and we will get it from Domus before you commit to a position.
No, despite the wording in the listing. The published rating is IP43 — protection against solid objects above 1mm and against water sprayed at up to 60 degrees from vertical. It is not rated against jets, driving rain from the side, or immersion. Keep it clear of sprinkler throw and do not hose it down, and it will be fine in ordinary rain.
No — it requires 3 x E27 globes, not included, so the post will not light until someone supplies them. Order them with it. The lanterns sit at 2.38m, so take a long-life LED E27 rather than the cheapest available. No maximum wattage is published, so ask us before fitting anything large in an enclosed acrylic lantern.
Modestly. At around 8W each in LED that is 24W on all night against the two-light's 16W — a real difference over a year of dusk-to-dawn running, though small in absolute terms. It is worth deciding whether all three need to be on, since a three-lantern head is also a switching opportunity.
Up to 10 business days for production, roughly a fortnight once weekends are counted. That lead time is actually published, which is unusual for a made-to-order Domus product, so you can plan to it.
