The Mini Ollo is the smallest recessed uplighter in Havit's Ollo family — a Ø53 mm face on a 316 stainless steel body, rated IP67 and IK10, which Havit specifies for ground or wall installation. This listing sells three faces: poly powder-coated black, full 316 stainless steel, and solid copper. It carries a built-in 1 W tri-colour LED and runs on 12 V DC.

Small output, deliberately — this is a marker light, not a wash

The integral LED gives 80 lm at 3000K, 90 lm at 4000K and 85 lm at 5500K, through a tight 30° beam at CRI >80. ⚠ At 1 W and 30° this is for marking a step, a path edge or a threshold — if you want to light a wall or a tree, the larger Ollo does that job. There is no lamp base and no globe: the LED is sealed in, and published lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs. Havit records it as dimmable.

⛔ The colour temperature is chosen by how it is wired — get this right on the bench

Unlike most tri-colour fittings, there is no switch. The neutral cables are marked for colour temperature. Connect the 3000k cable for warm white or the 5500k cable for cool white — and ⛔ the cable you do not use must be terminated to an IP rating, or water will reach the internal parts of the cable. For 4000k, join the 3000k and 5500k cables together and connect them to the neutral of the cable run. ⚠ This is a decision made at installation, not afterwards.

Low voltage, and Havit puts a distance limit on the driver

The Mini Ollo is 12 V DC constant voltage and Protection Class III — low voltage, no earth required. It runs from a suitable 12 V DC constant-voltage LED driver, and ⛔ it must not be connected directly to 240 V. Two conditions carry the warranty here and both are easy to miss on a long garden run: the supply at each fitting must stay within ±5% of rated, and ⛔ the fitting cannot be installed more than 25 m from the LED driver. Fittings are wired in parallel.

The hole, the drainage and the warranty conditions

Havit gives the cutout as Ø46 mm with the canister and Ø38 mm without, with a Ø53 mm face and a fitting height of 63 mm. ⛔ Drainage is a warranty condition: a 100 mm space below the canister and 100–150 mm of crushed rock beneath that. Where it is set into concrete, the canister must be flush with the wall or ground level. Joins must be soldered and covered watertight, and every o-ring and seal has to be in place. ⚠ Havit asks that gloves are worn when installing the copper face so skin oils do not mark it, and notes that solid copper will naturally tarnish outdoors — a living finish rather than a fault. ⚠ Tea staining on 316 stainless is not covered by the warranty, so the body and the stainless face want regular cleaning. The warranty is 3 Years Replacement.
