Product Description
xThe Mindy FL is a 1,200 mm rechargeable cordless floor lamp with touch dimming — 3 W giving 300 lm, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, IP54 — in black, brown, green or white.
There is nothing to install and no electrician needed. It runs on a battery and charges from a 1,000 mm lead. The old page said “this fitting must be installed by a licensed electrician” in the same description that said “no wiring required”. You charge it and put it where you like.
⚠ The warranty is TWO years, not three. Our page promised three. The Telbix datasheet says two, and that is the term the vendor will honour — a claim in year three would have been refused. It is a battery product, and batteries are the reason. We would rather correct this now than have you find out at claim time.
⚠ We cannot tell you how long a charge lasts. No battery capacity and no run time exist in any source we hold — and on a rechargeable lamp that is the number that decides whether it suits you. Ask us and we will get it from Telbix before you order. We have chosen not to guess.
A cordless floor lamp goes where no floor lamp can
That is the whole point. With no cable to run and no socket to find, a 1.2-metre floor lamp can stand in the middle of a room, on a balcony, beside an outdoor table, at the end of a jetty — and come inside when the weather turns. Every other floor lamp in this catalogue is tethered to a wall.
IP54, so outdoors is genuinely allowed
Dust-protected and rated against splashing water. A shower while it is on the patio is not a problem. It is not jet-rated and not immersion-rated, so do not leave it in standing water or where a sprinkler hits it — and it is designed to come back in, not to live outside permanently.
300 lumens with three colour temperatures
3 W giving 300 lm, switchable between 3000 K warm, 4000 K natural and 5000 K cool, with touch dimming from the lamp itself. At full it is an atmosphere light — enough for a dinner table or a balcony corner, not enough to read by comfortably. Dimmed and set warm it is a candle substitute, which is what most people buy it for.
Four colours, and a 160 mm base
Black, brown, green or white in iron, standing 1,200 mm on a 160 mm base at 1.5 kg. Worth a thought: that is a light lamp on a small base, and it is designed to be carried, so on a windy balcony it will need somewhere sheltered to stand.

Do I need an electrician?
No — it is a battery lamp. You charge it from a 1,000 mm lead and put it where you like. The old page demanded an electrician in the same description that said “no wiring required”.
How long does a charge last?
We do not know, and we will not guess. No battery capacity or run time exists in any source we hold — and on a rechargeable lamp that is the number that decides whether it suits you. Ask us and we will get it from Telbix.
Can it live outside?
It can go outside — IP54 is dust-protected and splash-rated, so a shower on the patio is fine. It is not jet-rated or immersion-rated, so keep it out of standing water and away from sprinklers, and it is designed to come back in rather than live outdoors.
Is it bright enough to read by?
Not comfortably. 300 lm at full lights a dinner table or a balcony corner as atmosphere; dimmed and set warm it is a candle substitute, which is what most people buy it for.
How do I dim it?
By touching the lamp. No switch, no dimmer, no wiring.
Is it stable outdoors?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
