Product Description
xThe Simon is a metal dome pendant in two sizes — ø150 mm small and ø350 mm medium — in gunmetal or white, on a 2 m cable.
Two sizes that do different jobs
The ø150 mm is small enough to hang in a group of three or five along an island without crowding. The ø350 mm is a single-pendant size — over a small round table, a corner, or a stairwell. They are not interchangeable, and the old size table on this page had them the wrong way round.
Gunmetal reads darker than black
Gunmetal is a grey-black with a metallic depth to it, so it picks up light along its curve rather than going flat like matt black. Against a white ceiling it is softer than black; against a dark one it almost disappears. White does the opposite.
Textile-lined metal
The shades are metal with a matching textile detail — gunmetal with black, white with white. The metal is opaque, so the light is thrown directly down: task light, not ambient light.
One E27 per pendant, not supplied
25 W maximum, replaceable, colour temperature your choice. If you are hanging several, buy the globes together — in a row, one different globe is obvious.

Specifying it
ø150 mm (small) or ø350 mm (medium), in gunmetal with black textile or white with white textile. Cable 2,000 mm. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is one year, shorter than the three years most of the range carries.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Over an island, hang the base roughly 750–900 mm above the benchtop.

What size is the small one?
ø150 mm. The medium is ø350 mm. An earlier version of this page had the two sizes paired with the wrong diameters.
Which size for a kitchen island?
Small, in a group of three or five. The medium is a single-pendant size — better over a small round table or in a corner.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W per pendant, supplied separately.
How long is the cable?
2,000 mm, shortened at installation.
How does gunmetal compare to black?
Gunmetal is a grey-black with metallic depth, so it catches light along the curve instead of going flat like matt black.
Will it light the room?
No. The metal shade is opaque and throws light straight down — it is task light, not ambient.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
