The Masto WB1 is a 500 mm exterior LED wall light in aluminium — 8 W giving 360 lm at 3000 K, IP54 — in black or white.

The Telbix datasheet we hold for the Masto does not carry a matching model reference — our extraction flagged it — which means the wattage, output and rating below may have been taken from a different product’s sheet. We have found sheets filed against the wrong SKU before. The figures are published as we hold them; ask us and we will verify with Telbix if the specification is critical to your job.

IP54 is a covered-exterior rating, not an all-weather one. The old copy said the Masto was designed to thrive “in both indoor and outdoor environments”, which reads as though it will go anywhere. It will not. IP54 is dust-protected and splash-rated — correct for a porch, an eave or a sheltered courtyard wall, and not for an exposed wall taking driven rain or a spot a sprinkler reaches.

A 500 mm bar, 50 mm wide

Tall and very narrow — 500 mm high, 50 mm wide, projecting only 55 mm. That is a slim vertical stripe on a wall rather than a lantern, and at just 0.5 kg it fixes to almost anything. Beside a door, its height relates to the doorway, which is why a vertical fitting reads as deliberate where a small square one reads as an afterthought.

360 lumens — an accent, and honest about it

8 W giving 360 lm. That is enough to mark a doorway and wash the wall immediately around it, and not enough to light a path or a driveway. Warm 3000 K, fixed, CRI above 80, and not dimmable.

Black or white

Black reads as a drawn line on render or brick; white disappears against a pale wall in daylight and lights up at night. On a fitting this narrow, that is most of the design decision.

It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired to a 50 × 140 mm canopy. A licensed electrician installs it — on this page that requirement is genuine.

Can it go on any exterior wall?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
