The Maren is a ø44 mm recessed stair downlight — 2 W, 150 lm, CRI above 90, three colour temperatures — and it comes with three interchangeable frames.
This is the reason to choose it, and the old page mentioned it without dwelling on it. You do not pick a finish at purchase: all three textured frames are supplied, and they swap. So you can decide on site once the wall is painted, use different frames in different rooms from one order, or change one later when the room changes. Nothing else in this range works that way.
ø44 mm and 28 mm deep. That is a very small cut-out, which matters in two ways: it goes into thin walls and shallow cavities where a 75 mm step light will not, and it is visually discreet — a run down a staircase reads as a line of small points rather than a row of fittings.
Be clear on what it does: it shows you where the step is. It will not light the stair. Used as intended — one every few treads, or along a hallway skirting — that is exactly right, and 2 W each means a run of ten draws 20 W.
Unusual at this size and genuinely useful: it is grazing timber treads, stone, carpet or render at close range, and colour accuracy is what stops those surfaces looking grey-green in the dark.
2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, selected on the fitting. On a stair used at night, the warmest setting disturbs dark-adapted eyes least — and 2700 K is warmer than most step lights offer.
IP20 — indoor stairs only. Not rated for an external step or a porch. Class II — double insulated, and not dimmable.
Maren is made in both shapes, on the same platform — round for curved or rendered walls, square where the stair detailing is orthogonal.
ø44 mm, 28 mm deep, in polycarbonate. Integrated 2 W LED giving 150 lm, included, switchable 2700/3000/4000 K, CRI >90. Three interchangeable frames supplied — black, gold and white. Not dimmable. 240 V (220–240 V), Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
None — all three are supplied. Black, gold and white textured frames come in the box and swap, so you can decide on site once the wall is painted, or change one later.

No. It is IP20 — internal stairs only.
