Product Description
xThe Marbell 8 light is a 1,200 mm linear close-to-ceiling fitting carrying eight glass shades. It runs along a ceiling rather than hanging from it, which makes it one of very few ways to get a long decorative fitting into a room with a standard ceiling height.
Linear, and close to ceiling
Most 1.2 m decorative fittings are pendants that need a void. This one sits 220 mm below the ceiling, so it works over a dining table or a long island in a 2.4 m room where a pendant would be in the way. It is also a genuine option for a hallway ceiling where nothing may hang low.
Eight E27 globes, and none supplied
Each shade takes an E27 globe up to 25 W — 200 W across the fitting, and no globes are included. Eight is a lot of light for a domestic room, so fit modest LED lamps and consider a dimmer. Buy all eight identical.
Amber or smoke glass
Antique brass with amber glass is the warmer pairing — the glass tints the light golden. Black with smoke is cooler and more dramatic, showing the globes more clearly. Both use ø140 mm shades.

Specifying it
1,200 mm long, 560 mm deep, 220 mm high, shades ø140 mm, in iron and glass. Eight E27 holders, 200 W total capacity. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and is Class I — an earth is required. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. The mounting spans 1.2 m, so confirm the ceiling fixing with your electrician before the ceiling is closed.

Does it hang down?
Only 220 mm. It is a close-to-ceiling fitting, which is why it suits a 2.4 m room where a 1.2 m pendant would be in the way.
How many globes does it take?
Eight E27 globes of up to 25 W each — 200 W of capacity. None are supplied.
Is that too much light?
Eight 25 W lamps would be. Fit modest LED globes and use a dimmer.
How long is it?

What is the difference between the two finishes?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
