Madrid Ceremic Table Lamp 1 Lt

The Madrid is a 640 mm gloss ceramic table lamp with a ø400 mm fabric shade, in four colours — black with white, blue, green or red.

A big lamp, and the shade is why

ø400 mm is a wide shade on a 640 mm lamp, over a ø230 mm base. It throws a broad, generous pool — and it means the lamp wants a console, a sideboard or a wide side table. Measure your surface depth, not just the width; the shade overhangs long before the base does.

Gloss ceramic, in real colours

Black, blue, green and red — and red is genuinely rare in a lighting catalogue. A gloss glaze reflects the room around it, which gives the coloured versions depth a matt finish cannot. Each is topped with a plain white shade so the base does the talking.

A tall ceramic body

The base alone is 370 mm high — more than half the lamp. That is a substantial piece of glazed ceramic, which makes it heavy and stable, and also breakable in a way metal is not. Handle it by the body, not the shade.

An inline switch on 1.8 m of cable

Reachable on the cord rather than under the shade.

E27 to 25 W, not supplied

The shade takes a 42 mm fitting hole. A warm globe suits all four glazes; cool white will grey the red and flatten the blue.
