The HV10292T is the four-lamp Luz in poly powder coated black aluminium — two GU10 globes throwing light up and two throwing it down, in a body 155 mm wide against the two-lamp version’s 77 mm. It is the version specified where a single narrow fitting looks lost: wide piers, rendered columns, a double garage frontage.
This is worth being blunt about, because it is the thing most often misread. Each globe here produces exactly the same output as the globe in the two-lamp Luz — the fitting is not brighter per direction, there is simply more of it. Havit supplies four 9-in-1 tri-colour GU10 globes with it, and the figures are per lamp: 240–560 lm at 3000K, 255–595 lm at 4000K, 270–630 lm at 5500K, the range spanning the globe’s 3 W, 5 W and 7 W settings. Output rises with colour temperature, so 5500K at 7 W is the brightest setting available. What four lamps buy you is a wider wash and a taller spread, not a longer throw.
Colour and wattage are switched on the side of each globe, and Havit ships every unit preset to 3000K at 7 W. With four globes that is four covers to twist off if you want to change it, so it is worth deciding before the fitting goes on the wall. The lampholders are standard GU10 and replaceable, rated to 35 W per lampholder — four of them, so 4 × 35 W is the ceiling for this body.
Havit requires the backing plate to be fixed and then every hole sealed, cable entry and screw holes included, and states plainly that failing to do so voids the warranty; the same applies to the o-rings and seals, and to any modification of the fitting. Silicone goes round the base plate against the wall. Rated IP65 and IK10 behind clear glass, it runs on 240 V mains with no driver or transformer, and it is Class 1, so an earth is required.
Being the aluminium version, Havit’s current instructions exclude installation within 5 km of any salt water environment for aluminium and 304SS fittings — the solid brass HV10592T is the coastal specification. It stands 300 mm tall, the same as the two-lamp model, is 155 mm wide, and has a Ø60 mm aperture at each lamp position. Its backing plate takes four Ø4 mm fixings around a Ø13 mm cable entry. We publish no wall-projection figure because Havit’s drawing does not label one.
It is Triac dimmable via Havit’s HV9625 300 W dial dimmer. Everything on this page has been checked against Havit’s own dated documents by the Lights For You team — ask us if you want the two-lamp and four-lamp bodies compared side by side before you commit.
Not per lamp — each globe is identical, at 240–560 lm depending on the setting. The four-lamp Luz spreads light over a wider area from a 155 mm body instead of a 77 mm one. If you want more light in one place rather than over more wall, turn the globes up to 7 W instead of buying the wider fitting.
Yes — four 9-in-1 tri-colour GU10 globes ship with the fitting. Havit’s data sheet lists them in its Included LED column and its product page states them explicitly.
5500K at 7 W, giving 630 lm per lamp. Output rises with colour temperature here, so the coolest setting is also the brightest. Warm 3000K at 3 W is the dimmest, at 240 lm per lamp.
Not within 5 km of salt water. Havit’s current instructions exclude aluminium and 304SS fittings within 5 km of any salt water environment, and this is aluminium. The solid brass HV10592T is the same four-lamp fitting in a material that clause does not name.
35 W per lampholder, so 4 × 35 W across this body. The supplied 9-in-1 globes draw at most 7 W each, so there is a lot of headroom — but do not exceed 35 W in any one holder.
Seal the backing plate completely — cable entry and screw holes included — keep all o-rings and seals in place, and do not modify the fitting. Havit states that failing to seal it voids the warranty. The warranty itself is 3 years replacement for items ordered after 01/01/22, and it must be installed by a licensed electrician to AS/NZS 3000.
No. It is a 240 V AC mains fitting wired directly, with no driver or transformer anywhere in the circuit. It is Class 1, so it does need an earth.
