The Luz is Havit’s up-and-down wall pillar light in poly powder coated black aluminium, and the HV10291T is the two-lamp size — one GU10 firing up the wall, one firing down it. On a pier, a gate post or either side of a front door that symmetry is the whole effect: two soft cones that read as a lit surface rather than a bright fitting.
Havit supplies two 9-in-1 tri-colour GU10 globes with the fitting — you are not buying lamps separately. Each globe is switchable for both colour and output: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, and 3 W, 5 W or 7 W. The figures below are per lamp, not the fitting’s total, which is double: 240–560 lm at 3000K, 255–595 lm at 4000K and 270–630 lm at 5500K, the low end being the 3 W setting and the high end the 7 W. Output rises as the light gets cooler, so 5500K at 7 W is the brightest this fitting goes.
The switches sit on the side of the globe, not on the outside of the fitting, and Havit ships it preset to 3000K at 7 W. Changing it means twisting off a cover and removing the globe, so it is a decision made on the ladder at install rather than from the ground later. The cover twists back on against its seal — the lampholder is a standard GU10, so the globes are replaceable, up to 35 W per lampholder.
Havit’s instructions are unusually direct about this: the backing plate must be installed and then every hole sealed, including the cable entry and the screw holes, and failure to do so voids the warranty. The o-rings and seals must all be in place for the same reason, and silicone goes around the base plate where it meets the wall. It is IP65 and IK10 rated with a clear glass diffuser, but that rating assumes the install was sealed. It is a 240 V mains fitting — no driver or transformer — and Class 1, so an earth is required.
This is the aluminium Luz, and Havit’s current instructions state that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment. For a coastal address the solid brass Luz is the version to specify. Overall height is 300 mm and the body is 77 mm wide with a Ø60 mm aperture at each end; the backing plate takes four Ø4 mm fixings around a Ø13 mm cable entry. Havit’s drawing does not label its wall-projection figure, so we do not publish one — the dimensioned drawing is in the data sheet on this page.
It is Triac dimmable, and Havit names the HV9625 300 W dial dimmer as the compatible accessory. Lights For You keeps the Luz range on the shelf in all three finishes, and we are happy to talk through which size suits your pier before you order.
No. Havit supplies two 9-in-1 tri-colour GU10 globes with this fitting, and both its data sheet and its Havit product page list them as included. The lampholders are standard GU10, so replacements are ordinary stock items later on.
Per lamp. Havit prints them as 2 × 240–560 lm, so each of the two globes produces the stated range and the fitting as a whole produces double. We never publish a summed figure, because an unlabelled total tells you nothing about how bright either direction is.
5500K, at 270–630 lm per lamp against 240–560 lm at 3000K. Output rises with colour temperature on this fitting, so the coolest setting is also the brightest — that is not true of every tri-colour fitting, which is why we state it.
Not within 5 km of salt water. Havit’s current installation instructions state that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment, and this is the aluminium Luz. The solid brass HV10591T is the same fitting in a material that clause does not name.
Yes — Triac dimmable, stated on both of its dated Havit documents. Havit names the HV9625 LED dial dimmer (300 W max) as the compatible accessory. Note that the tri-colour globes also switch between 3 W, 5 W and 7 W, which is a separate adjustment made at the globe.
Two things Havit spells out: not sealing the backing plate — including the cable entry and the screw holes — and modifying the fitting. All o-rings and seals must also be correctly in place. The warranty itself is 3 years replacement for items ordered after 01/01/22.
It is 300 mm tall and 77 mm wide. We do not publish a wall-projection figure: Havit’s drawing prints its remaining dimensions without labels, and guessing which one is the projection is exactly the sort of error that gets a fitting returned. The dimensioned drawing is on this page.

Learn MoreLights for You were very helpful when I followed up my online order needing some clarifications. They then followed up promptly with more accurate information.
The product I’m also very happy with. Quality manufacture and finishes. I love that I’ve been able to fine tune the intensity and warmth of the light too. Very happy all round!
