The Luxia C55S is a 520 mm square crystal flush pendant in chrome — 32 W giving 1,320 lm at 4000 K, plus full RGB, with RF remote dimming and colour control.

It measures 520 mm, not 550. Titled the “55 cm” Luxia, and every specification source says 520 × 520 mm — the third of the three squares with the same 30 mm overstatement. Plan from 520.

It genuinely changes colour, and our record never said so. Full RGB alongside 4000 K white, by remote, with no colour-changing flag in the record at all.

The largest square, and the one with real presence

520 × 520 mm, projecting 380 mm, at 4.8 kg. It is more than twice the weight of the small one and half a metre across, on a canopy the same 520 mm square — so it still sits flat against the ceiling and still works at 2,400 mm, which is unusual for a fitting this size. That combination — large, crystal, and flush — is genuinely hard to find, and it is the reason to choose this over a hanging chandelier in a room without height.

RGB through half a metre of crystal

Behind a flat diffuser a coloured LED gives a flat coloured panel. Behind faceted crystal it is split and scattered into many separate points and refracted edges. At 520 mm there is enough crystal for that to fill a room rather than decorate a corner of it, which is what the largest square is for.

⚠ Dimming and colour are by RF REMOTE — not a wall dimmer, not Bluetooth, not touch. Our record says only “dimmable: Yes”. Do not wire it to a TRIAC dimmer, and tell your electrician before they quote.

⚠ Class III — low voltage — so it runs on a driver, and no source confirms one is supplied. Ask us before you order, and note that at 4.8 kg the fixing wants checking too.

1,320 lumens — and be realistic about it

32 W at 41 lm/W, the lowest efficiency of the three squares because there is the most crystal absorbing light. Even at 520 mm this is not a bright fitting in absolute terms: it will light a bedroom or a dining space and it will not carry a large open-plan room. Buy it for the crystal and the colour, and plan other light around it.

Questions
Is it really 55 centimetres?

No — 520 mm. Every specification source says 520 × 520, and only the title says 55 cm. It is the third of the three squares with the same 30 mm overstatement. Plan from 520.

Does it change colour?

Yes — full RGB alongside 4000 K white, by remote. Our record carried no colour-changing flag at all.

Why choose the largest square?

Because large, crystal and flush is a genuinely hard combination to find. At 520 mm across it still sits flat against the ceiling and still works at 2,400 mm — which is the reason to choose it over a hanging chandelier in a room without height.

Is 1,320 lumens enough?

For a bedroom or a dining space, yes. Not for a large open-plan room. At 41 lm/W it is the least efficient of the three squares, because there is the most crystal absorbing light — buy it for the crystal and the colour, and plan other light around it.

How do I control it?

By RF remote — radio-frequency, not a wall dimmer, not Bluetooth and not touch. Do not wire it to a TRIAC dimmer.

Does it need a driver?

It is Class III, low voltage, so yes — and no source confirms one is supplied. Ask us before you order, and at 4.8 kg check the ceiling fixing too.

What does RGB look like through crystal?

Split and scattered into many separate points and refracted edges, rather than the flat coloured panel a flat diffuser gives. At 520 mm there is enough crystal for that to fill a room rather than decorate a corner of it.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
