The Luxia C38R is a 380 mm crystal pendant with full RGB colour in chrome — 24 W giving 1,040 lm at 4000 K, plus RGB colour and dimming by RF remote.

Full RGB, on an RF remote. Any colour, plus neutral 4000 K white, with dimming on the same handset. RF rather than WiFi means a physical remote rather than a phone app — no network, no account, nothing to stop working — and it works through walls.

⚠ Confirm the remote is supplied before ordering. No source records it, and there is no wall control on the fitting. Ask us.

The smallest of three — a feature, not a main light

380 mm across, projecting 185 mm, on a 380 mm canopy — the full width, so it sits close under the ceiling rather than hanging.

At this size and 1,040 lm, the C38R is a decorative feature rather than a room light. It is right in a small bedroom, an entry, a hallway or a walk-in robe, or as a secondary fitting in a room that already has general light. In a living room on its own it will be too dim.

2.6 kilograms — the easiest of the three to install

Spread across a 380 mm plate rather than a single point, so it goes onto a standard ceiling fixing. That is a genuine advantage over the crystal fittings in this range that weigh 8 to 9 kg on an 80 mm canopy and need engineered support.

Crystal read from below

Because it sits under the ceiling rather than hanging into the room, the crystal is seen from below and throws refracted pattern out onto the ceiling and the walls — the room carries the sparkle. Combined with the RGB, that pattern can be any colour you choose, which in a small entry or a child's room is a genuinely different thing from a white crystal fitting.

1,040 lumens at 43 lm/W. Modest, because crystal scatters light and RGB diodes are less efficient than white ones. All three Luxia sizes run at 41–43 lm/W, so the figures confirm each other.

White is 4000 K only and fixed — there is no warm white setting. A warm glow comes from dialling a warm tone on the RGB.

Class III — low voltage internally, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. A licensed electrician installs it.

Does it really change colour?

Yes — full RGB, not a switchable white setting, on an RF remote, with neutral 4000 K white and dimming on the same handset.

Is the remote included?

No source records it, and there is no wall control on the fitting. Ask us and we will confirm before dispatch.

Is it bright enough for a living room?

No — 1,040 lm makes it a decorative feature rather than a room light. It is right in a small bedroom, entry, hallway or robe, or as a secondary fitting where general light already exists.

Is it easy to install?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
