xThe Lunos OY23 is a 230 mm square LED oyster only 25 mm deep, in black or white — 18 W giving 1,550 lm, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, TRIAC dimmable, IP44.
1,550 lumens from a 230 mm fitting. That is a great deal of light for the size — more than several 400 mm oysters elsewhere in this catalogue manage — which makes the small Lunos the answer for a room you do not want a large fitting in: a hallway, a walk-in robe, a laundry, a porch, a small bedroom.
IP44 — and that is the real reason to choose it at this size. Our page said “Usage: Indoor”; our own record says Outdoor and Garden. The rating is the answer: protected against splashing water from any direction.
At 230 mm the positions that need exactly this are small wet or covered spaces — a bathroom outside the shower zone, a laundry, a porch, a carport, a covered entry. The IP20 oysters in this catalogue cannot go in any of them. Not a fully exposed soffit taking driving rain.
25 mm deep — nine to one
As slim as any ceiling fitting in this catalogue — the Legero is 29 mm, the Eltz 80. On a porch or carport ceiling, or under a bulkhead, that means the fitting is barely there until it is switched on.
Square, and small enough to repeat
Almost every oyster here is round. A 230 mm square aligns with the room and is small enough to be repeated along a hallway or a carport as a run — which at 0.61 kg each is a straightforward install on standard fixings.
Three colour settings, and it dims
3000 K warm, 4000 K neutral, 5000 K cool, chosen at installation — plus TRIAC dimming. In a laundry or robe the 5000 K is what you want; in a hallway, 3000 K.
Class II — double insulated, no earth required, which simplifies the wiring and is unusual for a ceiling fitting here. Cable 600 mm, CRI above 80.
The smallest of three
Lunos also comes at 300 mm (24 W, 2,150 lm — the most efficient) and 400 mm (30 W, 2,480 lm). All three are 25 mm deep and IP44.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
