The Livia is a floor lamp with a travertine base and a fabric shade, in beige with antique gold and cream, or black with dark antique brass and dark grey.

Travertine, which our own record lost

The base is real travertine — natural limestone, full of small pits with a soft banded grain, quarried rather than cast. Our product record lists only iron and fabric, omitting the stone entirely. It is the material that gives the lamp both its weight and its character.

Two schemes, not two colours

Each version is a three-part palette. Beige pairs pale travertine with antique gold and a cream shade — warm throughout. Black pairs dark stone with dark antique brass and a dark grey shade — considerably moodier, and the darker shade throws far less light sideways.

The shade decides the light

Cream diffuses and glows, lighting the room as well as the space beneath. Dark grey contains the light and directs it down. If you want a lamp that lifts a corner, take the beige; if you want a defined pool beside a chair, take the black.

Stone varies

Every travertine base differs in colour and banding, so a matched pair is not possible.

Base ø300 mm, shade ø250 mm, cable 2,000 mm, in travertine, fabric and iron. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. Overall height not published — ask us.
