Product Description
xThe Lima is a ø60 mm round recessed step light — 3 W, 360°, in aluminium with a PMMA diffuser, warm or cool.
We are not publishing a cut-out size. None of our sources records one, and it is the figure your electrician needs before drilling. The ø60 mm quoted is the fitting, not the hole. Ask us and we will confirm before you order.
360°, which square step lights cannot do
The Lima emits evenly all the way round rather than in a directional wash. On a stair riser that produces a soft ring of light on the tread below rather than a bright patch — a gentler effect than the square Brea, which throws a 120° beam forward.
Round and small
At ø60 mm it is considerably smaller than the 75 mm square Brea. Set into a riser or a wall at shin height it reads as a discreet dot rather than a fitting, which suits a stair you do not want to draw attention to.
PMMA rather than glass
The diffuser is PMMA acrylic — it will not shatter if something knocks it, which on a stair at foot level is the sensible choice.
Colour is fixed at order
3R-AL83 is 3000 K warm at 240 lm; 3R-AL85 is
5000 K cool at 260 lm. Not switchable. For a stair used at night,
warm is the better choice — it disturbs dark-adapted eyes far less.
IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. This is an internal stair light, not rated for an external step or a porch.

- Internal stair risers, one every few treads.
- Hallways, as low-level night guidance.
- Cinema rooms and stepped floors.
- Under benches and beds.

What size hole does it need?
We are not publishing a cut-out — none of our sources records one, and the ø60 mm quoted is the fitting, not the hole. Ask us before you order.
How is it different from the square Brea?
The Lima is round, smaller (ø60 mm against 75 mm square) and emits 360° rather than a 120° forward beam — a softer ring of light rather than a patch.
Warm or cool?
Warm (3000 K) for a stair used at night — it disturbs dark-adapted eyes far less. Cool (5000 K) is slightly brighter at 260 lm.
Can it go on an outdoor step?
No. It is IP20 with no water protection — internal stairs only.
Why PMMA rather than glass?
It will not shatter if knocked, which at foot level on a stair is the sensible choice.
Is it dimmable?
No, and the colour temperature is fixed by order code rather than switchable.
What is the warranty?
Two years — shorter than most of the Telbix catalogue.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
