Product Description
xLesen indoor wall light with back light
The Lesen is a Ø130mm indoor wall light that does two jobs at once: a 40° spot aimed forward for reading, and a 180° backlight that washes the wall behind the fitting. Sold in black and white, it is designed for the position where a reading light and a bit of ambient glow are both wanted — beside a bed, an armchair, or in a hallway that needs a soft presence rather than task light.
Those two beams are why the fitting exists. A reading spot alone leaves a bright pool in a dark room, which is tiring to sit beside; the backlight lifts the wall around it so the contrast is comfortable. Being able to run them together is the point.
Output — two elements, and the totals
The Lesen carries two 3W elements, so the fitting draws 6W in total. Havit rates each at 100lm, 110lm and 105lm across the three colour settings of 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, giving totals of 200lm, 220lm and 210lm respectively. It is tri-colour, with the setting selected on the fitting rather than fixed at manufacture, and colour rendering is above 80 CRI.
The spot element is a tight 40° and the backlight is a wide 180°. That is deliberate: a narrow beam is what makes a reading light usable, and a wide one is what makes a wall wash even.
Touch dimming
The Lesen dims by touch on the fitting itself rather than from a wall dimmer. For a bedside fitting that is the sensible arrangement — the control is where your hand already is, and no dimmer module is needed on the circuit.
It does mean the fitting should not be specified on a dimmed circuit expecting a wall plate to control it. If a wall-plate dimmer is part of the design, this is the wrong fitting for that circuit.
Power and installation
The Lesen runs on 240V AC mains and requires no driver. It is a Class 1 fitting and needs an earth connection, so installation is work for a licensed electrician.
It is rated IP20 and IK06 — an indoor fitting with no water protection, so it belongs in a bedroom, living space or hallway rather than a bathroom wet zone or anywhere outside. The body is Ø130mm, projecting 82mm from the wall. Mounting height is worth thinking about before the cable is set: a reading spot works from roughly shoulder height when seated, and a fitting placed for looks rather than for the chair beneath it tends to get replaced.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
